I recall something about them not settling around behind you. I think he might have settled 2Clams if we hadn't, but something tells me Wheat is off limits to him.
 
We could get by with about 20% research, or up to 60%. I'm gonna do 50% so we have something in the bank for them to demand.
And 50% has less rounding issues.
 
I will be stopping soon at T91. I'm wondering why Heretic isn't going to finish the mine. PPP has him moving T91, so I won't do that move.

The idea was a mine would not be worked too much during Caste/bureau, so better to get hammers from those forests.
Then the mine could be completed in time for slavery whipping once more.

Yeah, this will be a good time to pause an plan this out. Canal will want to prep whips during caste and might not be working all scientists.
It's not like it's the big GS push with GAge.
 
PR's score is quite a bit ahead of ours. I don't think it's all attributed to land and earlier cities, is it? Almost 200 difference is a lot.

In this game, without growing the number of cities like in a normal game, I don't expect our score to continue on a steep curve.

So our score is kind of what I was expecting; I'm not sure what PR is doing.

I think you were right. Why work 3h to eventually get 6g when you can just get 6:science: +25%. .Plus you get some gpp.
I was thinking we wouldn't have any way to whip+chop as the usual combo, but that's when you're trying to share a wonder with many cities in a short period of time.
In caste, we can just chop into Moai.

Long story short. We can chop those 2 and come back to finish the mine around the time caste ends.
 
Is everyone OK with 11 turns of caste? or is it worth it to burn up the food and probably starve 1 pop in Silver and cut that to 10turns?
The only reason to decide now is I would have to put 9gpp in there pre-caste

I am ok with 11 turns of caste.

We can get library and monastery whips ready in Profit City to get most of Maoi Statues done.

Capital can try to grow to Size 9.
4 pop Uni whip is 180 hammers.
Then a lot of oxford can be chopped with 150% bonus and 3rd and 4th ring forests.
 
Clam City does not have 1 hammer in a workboat.
It can be whipped T94 though.

Science City is staying Size 6?

Cowboy can road fur and then road that bare hill I think
Later can road silver and then improve hill.

My vague plans for Rex were to farm 1S of rice for 1 turn.
Then move to the jungle gem and road it.
Other option was to help shepherd add 2 farms to capital.
3rd option was to get to cow City and help road cow and fur, but it is a long walk

Is that the required time to get two pure GSs? Or are we going for more? Or a GS/GSpy mongrel?
11t gets us 2 100% GS (free Educatoin) and Canal city can do it's best to gather gpp. It can continue to get +8gpp/t in slavery using library sci.

Science starts with 30 and gets 6t @ 12gpp/t (for 72)
while Silver starts with 3 and does 11t @18gpp/t (for 198)
