[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

So we know Charles exists but haven’t met him yet. Hm.

St. Pete has had a library for 15t.
Novgorod has a monument instead.

I think getting Granary and Lighthouse done with 1-pop whips as soon as possible is best.
We need Profit to get Moai done as fast as possible so we can cash it in when we run out of Pyramid fail gold

Only Profit City can complete the Moai Statues since it has our prophet Great Wonder.
So isn’t maxOF 2whipping granary and lh more conducive to finishing Moai asap?

It shows up on my save for both Peter and SB. Not on your save?????

I am not seeing any mapmaker monkeying on my save.
Spoiler :

That is just Buffy 3.19.005 showing us the -1 we get from being on Emperor I think.
Open up any new game with Buffy 3.19.005 on Emperor and all the AI will say -1 “A first impression is a lasting one.”, no mapmaker needed.

If NZ has hurt our relations with Sitting Bull, it would say -1 "Past events have drawn our people apart"

I think growing on +5:food: per turn + working stone for +4:hammers: per turn into Maoi is fastest way.
Work on something that can be 2pop whipped into max overflow whenever another city puts hammers into Maoi. Maybe a Galley.

we are definitely 2pop whipping LH. I'll change the plan.
Granary? Hmm. I'll have to see if it's worth holding it back. Could be better to just move on to another building.

Haha, I stand corrected.

Ya, Lighthouse can be 2-pop whipped in Profit City on T95 with a lot of overflow.
Good job LTC. :goodjob:

Woooow! That explains a lot. I’ve been wondering why that appears so often lately. I was concerned that my set-up was goofy or something. Seems weird it’s a map makers for the BOTMs always do that. Thanks, Kait!

So then yes indeed, you’re right! Pleased at +4, friendly at +11!

Ok, let's delay the religion switch until at least T93 and we are sure the +1 Open Borders bonus will give us Friendly with Sitting Bull eventually.
That way we won't have religious negmods with any new AI we meet.

Gives more time for Sitting Bull to demand something like a resource or a religion switch from us.
Maybe he will demand 10:gold: right after we get Currency. :)

Will Sitting Bull really have a monopoly tech for us on T106 if he is Friendly?
T113 Friendly Sitting Bull is almost as good.

**Edit**
Ah, SB won't really trade us anything until he is Friendly, that's right.
Bah, I have a headache.

Profit
So, the 1-whip of Granary is a no-brainer. It's horrible holding it for a 2 whip.
LH 2pop looks great tho. Just in time for T95, so it goes into Moai. PPP updated.

Yes, I get the Moai needs to be in Profit but I was thinking we might want Profit to help contribute to Mids fail gold first to give us more time to put fail gold into Moai in other cities. 1-pop whipping with very little OF and then putting that OF into the next build and not fail gold doesn't excite me too much.

After Profit puts two, 2-pop-whip OF rounds into the Mids from granary and LH, it could whip other things (library, etc.) to build Moai.

Or, if we're in a hurry to complete Moai for some reason, the OF whips of the LH and granary could go into Moai instead.

EDIT: multiple xpost. I missed that there was another page.

What does our galley do after warrior dropoff? It could sail into the city T87 and the warrior arrives T90 in Whales which is probably not needed yet.
So save the galley movement and go back south?

I know, galley takes T89 Miss to Profit for earlier Marble

I've tried hard to find something wrong or some improvement to the PPP, but it's a work of art, Kaitzilla. :goodjob:
Silver gets to size 9 as requested. I may have something to add T92-95, but how about considering green-lighting at least T85-91 when you get a chance to review it. I'll re-post the latest PPP.

We could sail 1N on T85, drop off the Warrior on that plains hill, and sail to 3N3E of Profit City by T89.
The Warrior could walk to Whale City by T100 by itself if it takes the place of Silver City Warrior. :hmm:
It would be nice to get a 2-pop whip of monastery for extra :culture: sure.

Converting Peter faster feels good too though.

This!
is the correct thing to do. I checked that Whales has no need for MP.
For this reason, I'd like to do Profit first, and get Peter later. (if we don't get autospread)
There is enough time to sail to Whales-west and back to Profit for the worker(s) to move on marble.
