Great turnset.

Construction, obviously a great thing for us...hmm....checking... 5 turns! That falls in our Friendly window. Now we just need a tech to trade...Currency!
We can combo this with Guilds/Philo. I'll update the PPP!

This is the best news. We needed Construction pretty soon after Banking.
Ok, not the best news. That would be Aes first.

We don't have time to wait for him to get a new city.

We need Peter to get Metal Casting T115 or T116.
Then we need the religion bribe with map T117.
Get Feudalism T117 for our huge overflow to go into Guilds.

Peter won't take Metal Casting and Machinery on the same turn.

Metal Casting should give us the needed +1 diplo from sharing technology.
Combined with shared religion it should be Friendly relations for 6 turns.

We can start our 4th Missionary this turn.
Might be worth paying 5 to Peter for his map to double check the Tao situation.

I wonder if they'll all be so weak down there (and fighting each other) that we can just kill em all. And Peter can stay untouched. We'd win Domination, right?
This sounds way easier than UN and getting votes. Plus all the $$ from conquest.
Eiffel is easier to build than UN--oops, only with Iron, but we can start it sooner.
And then no Mass Media.

I was really looking forward to a cooperation game, but Peter's seafood is probably all we afford to pay for anyway.

Can't we just pan out, and show Tao religion? I just did that and there are only 3 cities. Can other be hidden? I think you can see religion this way, right?

This is a couple turnsets away, but not as far as you might think... our Econ merchant has to go to Silver.
Not difficult--probably use a boat some?, but then Silver has to do at least 2 Execs and those have to get around our empire. Do they travel on caravels? The help file doesn't mention them, but I think that's a mistake.

Our cities can start a 4th missionary as soon as the one in Peter's island city spreads T115.

It frees up Machinery + Currency for Feudalism T117.

We can get Construction later on T128 when we bribe Peter back to Confu and trade him Banking or something.

We definitely traded 4 techs to Peter so far.

The important thing is that he chose a tech. Giving him MC earlier than now coulda meant he would pick Machinery next.

We have paper. SB's and Peter's map cost 5 gold each. A great scientist is born in Novgorod.
When the galley sailed past SB's capital, chariot driver didn't see a library in Cahokia. But the settler was found there.
SB has 1 gold/turn. I sold him a fur for gold.

Diplomacy

I think Mirrorguard did the fur trade on T95?
I renegotiated it for 2 per turn in my turnset.

Wait, does "shared resources diplo bonus" still build during our Anarchy?
I'm almost sure we have had Rice since T85 and Fur since T95 going to Peter.
