    Odd, cus I feel like I always do exactly this, and IIRC, our SGs have done GP farming a couple times like this.
    I know I used Mitchum's spreadsheet way back in 2017 for BC space. Maybe you weren't with us then?

    If we are in no hurry to get calendar, then we are in no hurry to get SB to friendly, right? My concern was Peter switching to Taoism and having to wait five turns before we could get him back.

    We don't really need the Trireme. it will be good for SB defense tho, so we can have it ready to optionally upgrade to caravel.
    Hopefully in 2t we get compass and then Peter might become useless, at least for a while. He may go to Tao and we won't switch him back. Maybe ever.. cus we will have him at Friendly+Tao.
    So we need SB +4 trade before they are WE again. Ergo: trade Philo this turn.

    I read the posts but I'm a bit hazy on the agreed changes to the trireme -> caravel plan. I get that we can meet 2 AI when we learn Optics based on our culture and/or where we position our boat(s). I have not opened the game so I didn't follow the details.

    The last plan I remember (and agreed to) was 2 triremes upgraded to caravels with a missionary on each. One near Canal to circumnavigate and one near Profit to go south and meet the AI.

    No missionaries, no scouts. Just one Great Person (as optional passenger)
    Only one Caravel upgrade (near Clams, not Canal) (going thru SB's canal) for circumnav.
    No other plans until Optics reveals map.
    One Tri in Profit as possible caravel, otherwise it fights SB.

    I vote missionary boards galley for Moscow. And he disembarks at Vlad (? closest city) so the galley can meet Gray AI when get Optics.

    Especially if we don’t care about Peter in Confu, we might as well put Confu in Moscow at 91%.

    Or...if we don’t need Peter in Confu for Friendly, why not save the Confu Miss for the New World? Can he return and board the caravel?

    Btw, Peter will tech Optics after Compass. So we shouldn’t re-route the Confu Miss just yet.

    we don't know that we don't need him in Confu again. (he could demand 500 gold)

    If someone can prove to me that Peter will switch to Tao even if he has 4 confu, 4 Tao, then I'm ok with going to Moscow.
    But rt now, I'm under the assumption that if we can spread to Vlad ASAP, before a 4th Tao spread, we can keep him in Confu until he gets a 5th Tao city.
    Which could be forever if he starts spreading Confu manually.

    Also, failing to spread to Moscow could mean no way to get him back. 4 cites is the key vs 3 cities.

    Without OR and Slavery, Peter won’t build a Confu Miss in the current cities before game end.

    I’d gamble in Moscow at 91%, considering your research into the code.

    Particularly important is during an MOM golden age. Every city gets the plus hundred percent.

    I too favor getting Friendly Sitting Bull right now by trading away Philosophy.

    So ya, 2t on Fur, but! not 125-126. Grow first. Fur T127-128 ('next' turnset :))

    The code was complicated, and I only thought I figured out one way to keep him in Confu: that whole 4/3 population thing.
    But I can't figure out why he didn't switch already, so another way I'm hoping is simply city count. Tao = Confu rt now.

    MG wrote 90% done, so I'll let him finish the PPP and update it with the latest info before green light. I'm here all day. Should be able to get this played today yet.
