Here's why, it is important for anyone playing with the spreadsheet:

We are not going to run slavery or serfdom for 5t, we just stay in caste. That way we don't waste the 8th turn of the GAge and we can do more between GAges.
 
I wanted the 700gpp before the GAge#2 starts.
I focused on getting the 1200 GPP 1t after the 1000.
Built the NE online T131 by growing Science to size 10 (but I also had to starve it back to 9)

I had on spreadsheet for 147, then re-tooled it for 146. There are likely a couple errors.

The key to getting it done T146 was to have Silver go first at 200gpp.

I think you should remove all rows from the spreadsheet that are no longer relevant to the plan so that they don't confuse MG while he plays.

On T131, Cows will pop before Silver.
Profit will pop 300 on T132 before Science can pop 300 on T133.

If you hard code a value, highlight it so that it's clear. It looks like you hard-coded several values on T129.
 
I guess we're going back to slavery/OrgRel on T146, with 3t left in the GAge? Or maybe get 2 more turns of Caste? Does it make sense to stay in Merc? Hmm. No, wait, duh, we should get to FreeMarket (Corp Econ) by T148 and switch to that too.
That will make Harbors more attractive. Can we get three +4 TRs? which are then +6 each w/ harbor? (when we have Astronomy) Or is the base just +3?

I don't think we can Lib->Medicine by T148, so we can't use FreeReligion. OrgRel is probably needed for a while anyway.
Maybe during the mudblood golden age we can switch to FR.

At least in FR, we wouldn't anger Tao Peter.
But we can't be in FR at the end of the game.

Harbor 50% doesn't work that way at all. Our cities now are at 175%, yielding only 2c. The harbor gets it to 225% for 3c.
 
So, we're getting 10 GP. by T146.(plus music artist I assume)
2 for GAge#2 (Canal and Profit, where Profit runs all Merchants to guarantee these two don't match)
8 GS (assume one of these fails)

I'm still not interested in a GM.
When the money runs out in about 15 turns....or with some build wealth and tech for gold, 20 turns...
by running our slider at 60-70%, we can break even.
That might sound bad, but the difference is 800bpt vs 900 bpt.
And I think the difference could be as low as 75:science: if we're building wealth

Actually, if we can commit to Science (and Profit) building mostly wealth, we can make it easily to Sushi without running out of money.

So instead of getting 1700:science instantly, we will get, let's say, 2000:science: between 20 and 40 turns from now.

The goal is Bio/Sushi in 21 turns. That 1700 should make a 2-turn difference.
 
I no longer want to consider the Astronomy first option. Back when we were thinking our GS#7 was born T152-ish, we had an excess of time for organic research.
Now, with Biology bulb T146, We can't afford to manually research Bio starting T146.
We need about 18,000:science: (not counting 7 bulbs)
At 900 bpt, our organic research about perfectly matches our GS arrival. We will have to build wealth and maintain 100% research for the next 21 turns.
Remember,16 of those turns are GAge and build wealth goes a loooong way.

But, worst case, if we'd rather build stuff and run 70% slider, Bio/sushi only are delayed 1 turn.

Alright, no trade mission then.
Leaving some long-term beakers on the table does get us Bio and Sushi faster.

With Oxford and the 4 unis, feels like more than 2000:science: is possible, especially since sushi will murder our slider while letting us work even more specialists.


Quick sanity check.
With limited health and happy, more food gets us the win faster still right?

Technically we don't need biology and medicine to win.
Sushi would give us +7:food: per turn with just our seafood I think.

Market and forge are both 2 happiness.
Theater and culture slider give plenty of happiness.
Temple of course.

Harbor, aqueduct, grocer, hospital, and supermarket all give health.
