Btw, haven’t seen any SB settler at Ivory. His galley is just lurking around ivory.

Also the galley has one white ball that used to indicate a unit on board before one of the upgrades canceled that. Is that with friendly, or what?

After we draft some muskets and get our power rating up, we can probably use up our beg on Peter.

I can't imagine ever needing it to save us from a Peter DOW.

Starting T141 once we get circumnav. we can safely sell our map.

Their_Power = Our_Power / 0.9
Divide the Begging_Ceiling by 2 if not in Financial Trouble to find the Gold_Ceiling.

We met Peter on T78 according to page 1.
It is now T138?

60+50 * 2 * (0.9 roughly) / 2 = 99 ceiling

Ya, I'm 99% sure we can beg 40 safely.

I’m going to delay the Cows caravel 2t and run a merchant there. Lowers us to -57gpt. We’ll be able to complete the caravel in 1t during the GA, with 1h overflow. Better. We’re already up to 8gpt unit cost. Maybe just delay the caravel till it’s needed. I don’t think it has time to explore anything.

My instant reaction is his negmods with others are numerically equivalent to or better than with us. Problem is, it doesn’t mean he’s not others’ WE. If Karl’s fist means he’s at war, we’ll get -4 with that AI if we trade with Karl.

I think we wait because neither Karl nor Sal are going to be tech trading partners. Sal beelined Feudalism with Theo but has nothing else.
