That was my first thought too, but Kait looks like he's having so much fun, so I didn't wanna pee in his Cheerios. I'm fine with either way. Preserves are all that really matter and we can't start those.
We have to start playing tho, it's been a week with no turns; Only about 8 weeks to go, right? And I hate rushing the end, so let's think 6 weeks. One turnset every 5 days.

I think it is optimal, but I hate having 1 angry citizen.
Cow City can grow 1 pop pretty easily in 2 turns, but that makes things worse with Clam City have 2 angry citizens for 1 turn.
We must keep in mind that we don't want to whip a Forge on T148 anywhere do to bulbing.
T150 Forge whips at the earliest I think.

I hopefully plan to do something very stupid.

This will be our 1st war where a loss of our city is game over.

We have all our Monasteries, so Sci. Method completing won't game over us.

Let me add those.

Peter losing +3:gold: trade routes with Sitting Bull (because we DOW) and slipping 1 turn on Engineering would also be a pretty big pain, but there is nothing we can do to help Peter tech faster.

We could always trade SB machinery to get him higher in score too. That's of no use to him without metal, right?

are we closing borders with SB? or just the DoW closes them? That will teleport his wb too...wherever that is.
 
Wait a minute, I know SB loses trade routes with Peter if we DOW, but does Peter actually lose trade routes with Sitting Bull?

A trade embargo would be a bad idea if Peter is still getting fat trade routes from Sitting Bull during the war.

Caravel will cover the 2 Galleys 1W of Poverty Point ya.

There is a small chance the Poverty Point galley will sail into our waters in between T146 and T147 and blockade our seafood in Canal City.

This would cause our city to starve down 1 population.

Should we have our 3rd galley halt at 1N of wine on T146 for defense?
It might provoke a fight that we lose and we still get blockaded.

Trireme should try to draw up a Galley to fight inside our borders. :hmm:
How about blockade 3W1N of SB's capital?
That is close to our borders and shuts down all the water tiles on the west side of his capital.

I see the wb can be on Clams' clams T148. Should Caravel 1 go take care of it? Our empty galleys can block and I doubt he will attack with 1 galley.
Or will that wb head towards Peter? in which case it could block Cows' seafood 149,

Our Galley can get back to save Clam City from the workboat menace T150 2 turns late.

Our Caravel going to Aachen means we can bulb Astro on T150 for maximum science.
Then again, bulbing Astro T150 is a bad idea if Peter is going to start it while we get Medicine between T151 to T155.

I'm really not sure how pesky that workboat will be. :dunno:

Faster hunting Caravel means meeting France later which means less :science: on an Astro bulb.

Sitting Bull, who is at war with us, sees Peter Pleased with us and bribes him to DOW us for Nationalism.
Peter DOW's us and we lose our Great Merchant.

We also lose the ability to get techs from Peter such as Engineering or other juicy things later.

We have a Peace Treaty with Peter for 3 more turns :D

The earliest Pleased Tao Peter can accept a bribe to DOW us is T148, and we will be sharing Bureau bonus with him on T148 and will be Friendly.
We will also trade him Nationalism for Engineering on T148 before it is his turn.

That workboat is going to be a pest!

Great Scientist will be dropped off early and meet France T151.

I will work 1 coastal tile in Canal City instead of 1 Scientist on T145.
The extra food means any surprise blockade won't cause any population loss.

I need to plan for Size 7 Canal 3-pop whipping a Forge T148 with 8/120 Forge.
Might have to work that mine 1 turn.

Profit losing the 2 happiness from Barracks T148 is a bigger pain. Hmm
Might have to have Size 7 Profit 3-pop whip a Forge T148 too.

We are double bulbing T149 and triple/quad bulbing T150.
Should we just live with the angry citizens for 2 turns?

Ya, we probably should.

6 population is 90:science: for 5 bulbs.
2 angry citizens for 2 turns can't compare to +90:science:
