I merely got what information i wanted out of Spain, who simply announced something that would have been made known this year despite them. If they feel the need to try and find something to use against me for their own means then let them go ahead.

It seems an announcement that was to be made shortly must be brought forward to now. As some may suspect we have constructed nuclear weapons. It is my belief that with tensions growing world wide with more and more nations insisting on their creation i will not give them a soft target.
In truth, i would have kept this from you for as long as possible if no one knows about something then it doesnt exist and that truly is the best state of being for these weapons. But as we can see by the actions of several nations worldwide the world is not a safe place. And Germany needs to be able to defend itself.
However, Spain has gone too far. Threatening to invade a nation they believe has something to do with certain attacks is one thing, spieing on a neighbour and at the time ally and friend is another. My people, I will not stand for this. There will be no invasion that they seem to want we will merely defend those that have not the power to defend themselves.
For if Spain is willing to spy on its friends i see no reason why it couldnt have set fire to that building itself, in fact its shockingly reminiscent of the Reichstag Fires which Hitler used to eliminate his political opposition. We will not watch another Hitler rise to power. We will not give him his 'Czechoslovakia' and wait for his invasion of 'Poland' we will stand in grim opposition.
