We can no longer stand by as Taiwan conitnues to comit hostile acts towards China. We have shown considerable restain on the issue, yet they are shooting down our aircarft. We consider this an act of war and the cease fire that we have signed with Taiwan broken. We will teach Taiwan that they cannot attack our armed forces and get away with it.

We would like to remind the PRC that this aircraft was shot down over Taiwanese airspace. We would also like to remind CHina that the US in the past had their planes shot down over Soviet Russia and hardly rushed to war over it.

I have to agree with Sheep on this one, we don't know what plane was shot down, why, or by whom, so it would be prudent for us to wait a little while before we start an all out war over it.

Let me just mention one quick thing - World Cup should be great for UGT. Ghana had a great first world cup, and togo made it as well (though they lost every game). The two combined should have a MEGA soccer team, at least for African standards.

(also, yes I did root for ghana partially because of John Pentsil. Other reasons as well, and that has very little though something to do with me choosing them.)

Andis - I may have you know that if you join that I am sending a contingency of peacekeepers to Biafra this year.
