It depends on what the armor looks like. My modelling skills aren't actually that refined, so I'm not sure that I can help you out.

I've been finishing up my mod because I really want to finish it and move onto other things...but I've also been playing around with my Lung Dragon module for Poser...

Utahjazz has said he will make the shield from the picture I believe...

It has some major palette issues. Parts of the clothing will be transparent; and I'm not sure any of the purple would work in game. Instead of purple, I suggest that be CIV colored to avoid that issue. And, if you want a particular tribe to have purple robes you give them purple as their tribal(civ) color.

Here're the round shields I put together. There are two: one plain and one with rings. Both have textures and texture maps. There's also a simple prop to simulate the straps or whatever that would hold a shield to the left forearm--it ain't perfect, but it works at civ-scale.

I would like to see someone put together a Greek unit using that texture map that I made for the plain round shield. I like it.


Sword_of_Geddon, I tried to follow your directions for the coloring of the American shield. I'm not sure that I got it right though. But, the texture can always be altered by whoever wants to.

You're welcome. I'll get back to you about the armor stuff. I'm mulling things over, thinking if I could actually pull it off or not. I'll let you know when I decide.
