Sid variant

Pangaea on Sid  but I'll let you guys decide

Thats all folks,
Domination at 1525.
Take Greeks at 2 turns and Germans next 3. It was enough for 66% land, but population appears to be 65 %. So one turn more. To transfer troops faster have built a lot of airfields. We could use it just when have discovered flight...

Pangea on Sid may be too hard, also I'd like some Navy. What I want excersise somehow is Sid without "special settings". Very avarage. Like Continents, large map, 70-80% water...

that was a fast finish :goodjob:

It was a surprisingly 'easy' game considering this was sid...guess the starting position helped a lot

Of course we could have won via domination few hundreds earlier (shut off research after Rep Parts, cash rushing and upgrading military, mobilizing).

Continents sounds good. We could play as Iroquis and try to take continent only with MW's. Or play as Mongols with their awesome 60 shield Keshik..

Well as it was advertised we want some morden battels + I'd like to be sure that SS just the question of time.

Yeah, I have a different experience. I rarely play civ, like one game in two months (except for COTM which i try to finish every month) and play on tiny or small maps due to lack of time on sid level. Tiny maps are far diffetrent from large ones of course. But for tiny and small maps MW and sensible MA's is a game breaker IMO. You can get ~ 20 MW's at 1000BC (trading alphabet for wheel with Japan early on, and then min on HBR while getting it around 1000BC, building chariots and accumulatiing cash). Make alliances vs civ you are attacking, upgrade chariots to MW and you'll get domination if you did everything ok in late BC's.

Of course you need to have good skills, huge amount of luck and perfect starting position to beat Obormot's tiny sid domination 1025 BC date in HOF, but with approach I've written any experienced player caould beat SID.

I don't know if it will work on large continents but like 40 MW's and military alliancesa might do the job to conquer a continent. We'll see
