The local hockey club just won the national championship...that's gotta count for something...:mischief:

Just lulling them into a false sense of security :p

I just think that if people would honestly consider how they would feel if their parents had chosen to abort them instead of letting them live that they might form a different opinion now that their own life was at stake. I don't think that there are many people alive, right now, who'd choose abortion over life, no matter how hard or crappy it has been for them. It kind of shatters every single argument that these pro-baby killers have.

EDIT: OMFG! How could I forget the www.rantradio.com plug? Why? Rant Radio and other Rant Media simply rocks the house yall! Sean Kennedy is the <bleeping> man!

"rest[ed] upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery—subordination to the superior race—is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth." - Confederate States of America Vice President Alexander Stephens
States' Rights My Ass

VRWCAgent, just curious about your sig.

VRWCAgent, just curious about your sig.

I think that I can answer that.

There are a lot of apologists for the former Confederate States of America that want to pretend that one of the primary issues that brought about the Civil War was the institution of slavery. They do this, because no rational modern human being would support the notion that keeping the institution of slavery is something worth fighting for.

Now, unfortunately, the South chose to fight for the right cause over the wrong issue. The South was fighting for their right to keep the institution of slavery, but in the end, they were also fighting for States' Rights. It is a case of being caught between a rock and a hard place. It would be like Hannibal Lecter being the spokesman for the carnivores of America. I mean, I like a good steak and agree, in principle, that Americans should have the right to choose to eat meat, but how could one stand with that guy on the issue?

Still looks like something a girl would have as a sig.

So im in touch with my femine side then :p

I'm going for minimalist.

At least until I can be bothered to find my old details...
