Let's all stop and think for a moment.
This game has a mechanic where players' alignments are revealed immediately when "jailed", and "jailed" players can be released from jail at any time. However, when a player is "hospitalized", or eliminated more permanently, it takes three days for the player's alignment to be revealed, and a player cannot be released from the hospital (by a vote, at least).
Think about that.
It seems horribly unbalanced, right?
Think of the people who have been jailed.
Their alignments have been overwhelmingly innocent.
Now, think of the people who have been hospitalized.
Their alignments have been overwhelmingly non-innocent.
What are the odds of that truly happening? Very, very low.
Now also consider that there don't appear to be any mafia kills at night.
Now consider that there several players have been revealed as various 3rd-party/neutral factions, BUT NONE HAVE BEEN REVEALED AS MAFIA.
CONCLUSIONS:
- Alignment results, especially ones from jail, cannot be trusted.
- There is no mafia faction.
- Instead, there are multiple 3rd-party/neutral factions.
This is the only logical conclusion about the game setup. Otherwise, it would seem to be far, FAR too easy.
