It's much too warm here, near 80 today, and very humid! This angers me; it is October, and closing on late at that! I want cold noses and sweaters and hot chocolate! I do not want to wear shorts and show up to class in a dead sweat!

It's a good thing seasons are only three months long, otherwise I'd get tired of them before they were done.

It is fall. I want it to act like fall. Fall is not warm, fall is cold. But it is not cold right now. Syllogism says I am not pleased with the present state of the weather.

Oh, it was 90F here today. I went swimming.

I was in Death Valley last weekend. I ran into a sandstorm followed by rain followed by freezing temperatures and snow followed by 80F the next day. Now that's weather.

Basically a normal October day.

We just got over a warm spell today, it was 81 F yesterday (in the middle of October!) but today it was a nice 60, and it's supposed to stay in the mid-to-low 60's for the next week. What really sucks is that our school had cranked up the thermostat to 80 (no kidding, we checked) when it got down to 65 a week ago, and it remained at that through yesterday so it was hotter inside than outside, then apparently last night they decided to turn it down again to 70, JUST in time for the 54-degree morning. Yeah, not fun.
