SirJethro's DyP II - "The Emperor's New Mod"

here is a list of the things that need to be changed:

Champion should cost 1 (not 2) and have -1HP (not 0)

Clans, shamans and pioneers should cost 5 (hardy) and 3 (normal) not 6/4.

Clear Forest should have no prerequisite

Tech Rate Changes:
Tiny = 60
Small = 80
Standard = 110
Large = 140
Huge = 180

World Size Changes:
Large maps should be 130x130 and huge maps 160x160
 
Guys...I've been playing a game on my own this morning and got the following message when trying to build a longship: couldn't find "longboatattacka.flc". Crashing ensued. Is this me or the build?
 
I'm just going to wait for the next patch. BTW, the answer to whether you can play a 1.05x game after installing the 1.10x patch appears to be no. At least for me.

LaM....My preference for this SG is to keep it to players who have (1) beaten DyP on Monarchy, and (2) completed at least 1 full SG at CFC.
 
The next build is out now, fixing the longship bug. Sorry about that guys :)

There is a way to have more than one version of DyP installed. It's a bit lengthy but great if you play in any MP's using different versions. Let me know if you want that (don't want to post it in this thread)

As you can see, not a lot going on here. Personally, I'd put the city on the hill to the east, so we border the sea but get the most land in our radius.

Down the road, I think this will be a well producing city, with the BG and hills. Hopefully there are some resources or luxuries hidden that we haven't exposed yet.
 
How many turns for the first round?

A bug has been found in beta 5. Swordsmen don't upgrade to Medieval Infantry but skip to Musketmen.
 
10 or 20...your call. We'll just live w/ the swordsmen bug. I never build them anyway.

I have seen this BG abbreviation a few times recently. Care to spell it out to a poor, ignorant fellow :confused:
 
Bonus Grassland, ie Grassland with a shield or 'outcropping,' as you call it. :)

Is there something wrong with Marketplaces in build 4? I'm playing a SP game, and I have 7 luxuries with bazaars, marketplaces, etc., but I'm only pulling one smiley per lux.
 
We dropped the doubles happiness from marketplaces because it was too easy to keep your people happy. Marketplaces now only give 3 content citizens. We are going to reintroduce the doubles happiness flag to a later improvement but have yet to determine which of the current improvements it should be added to, or if we should add a new improvement to fulfill that role.
