By now you must have heard news of the actions of the Byzantines. They have constantly been aggressors against us, and always broken their word. If the Holy Roman Empire is to fall to them, who is to say that you won't be next? No matter what your religion, or what your government or location, I beg of you to help destroy the "Roman" Empire that rules in Constantinople. If you help, the Republic of Venice-and the Holy Roman Empire with it-will guarantee your independence for the rest of eternity. If you don't help, we might survive, however, there is also the chance that the oathbreakers in the East will choose your nation next.

I nominate the Elector of Aquitaine (Terrance888) as the next Holy Roman Emperor, in light of the fact that he was, and is, the most diplomatically active (which is the most important trait for being HRE in my opinion).

When this game first started, I was excited to have the opportuntity to play a Medieval Style Nes, emphasis on NES. I would have put more effort into this war, but honestly after the "Attack on the HRE", I just feel like why bother. I've had a bit of fun at the start but it's quite clear the Emperor is on autopilot. Have fun, this isn't the game for me though

OOC: Please don't take this personally, but I can't tell if you're saying that you don't feel like fighting in a situation you're deeming hopeless, or you don't feel like playing because your on "autopilot" and thus even though you're officially in charge, you have no control.
