The korean war was over, the pandas were safe again, it was estimated 30 pandas died in korean hands.....for that........ 100,000 koreans died! but it was fair, and everyone was happy
.
It was time to continue expanding, now that the korean thread was no more, we decided to allow the resisting population to join us, they were reluctant to join our rich empire.
Settlers were sent south, along the coast, protected by troops and a newly more developed navy.

One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing as usual, he saw a merchant's ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates. The merchant was so happy and asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. Malin Kundang agreed.
Many years later, Malin Kundang became a wealthty merchant, with a huge ship, loads of trading goods, many ship crews, and a beautiful wife. In his journey, his ship landed on a beach. The villagers reconigzed him, and the news ran fast in the town: Malin Kundang became a rich man and now he is here. His mother, in deepful sadnees after years of loneliness, ran to the beach to meet her beloved son again. When the mother came, Malin Kundang, in front of his well dressed wife, his crews and his own gloriness, denied to meet that old, poor and dirty woman. For three times she begged Malin Kundang and for three times yelled at him. At last Malin Kundang said to her "Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly peasant!" Then he ordered his crews to set sail.
Enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn't apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and set sail. In the quiet sea, suddenly a thunderstorm came. His huge ship was wrecked and it was too late for Malin Kundang to apologized. He was thrown by the wave out of his ship, fell on a small island, and suddenly turned into stone.
Money corrupts even the best of men.

Caesar Alexander III walked out on the main balcony of the Caesarian Palace in the great city of Byzantium. The Republic had entered the Bronze Age. This new technology would be introduced into the army so that they could fight better and be more advanced. The Senators were wary of the Phoenician pirate attacks and demanded that the Caesar concentrate on making the navy stronger first. Alexander did not listen - he would not submit to the demands of those petty fools. All of Turkey was now part of the Republic. The Turkish nobles sent their delegations to the Senate with arguments to fix living conditions, but since they were newcomers, their demands were ignored by the majority of the Senators.
With Bronze Age, new wonder possibilities were available. Though all the wonders available were very attractive, Caesar Alexander chose to begin the Great Slave Yard, so that other wonders would come quicker.

Javapahit navies wrestle with the Jambians off the coast of Sumatra. A small band of Galleys proves more sucessful than the rest at hitting the Jambians, wiping out their path to Borneo singlehanded. Javapahit "True beleivers" say that the war runs against their beleifs and have begun to stage minor, sustainable, protests.
(You can update as much as you want Fin, but it costs Economy levels, you had a banked Economy level so I spent that ad upgraded 2 levels of ur fleet (u pay for each size over small) and you are now in a depression)

In a surprise event, a faction called "true believers" had started to oppose the war which was started to set the Holy Island of Borneo free from the attacks of an outside religion. But High Priest Singbula, together with the Council of the Priests, decided that they would have absolutely no intentions of giving up on land that was declared Holy.
One day, a strange-looking man came to Singbula's Ziggurat (the wonder was still unfinished but it was so close to be done that Singbula could already spent time there). The man was an Indian man, and he didn't look quite the same as the people that the Javapahitians had met before.
"Greetings from Bombay!" the man said.
And these kind of things always seem to come in pairs: it didn't take even three days until the same kind of representive came from a country called Sovietka. The Javapahitians were finaly getting to know other nations...

Sovietika was a powerful state, rich, very rich, all this to its commercial people, the silver trade fleet had been complete, of course it was not a fleet of ships made out of silver, but many trade merchant ships that brought much money to the empire!.
but there was something strange, an earthquake, people were sad, very sad, the emperor then wen tand talked to everone at a meeting.....
People of sovietika! the earthquake was out of my power......it was a sign! a sign for us to upgrade our naval power! and conquer the magical island to the east! is this magic from the island doing bad to us! we must conquer it!
and so the coffers of the empire were left w/ no gold and silver, but the fleet became the worlds largest best trained and state of the art.
