The sun was just rising over the horizon, throughing red and orange into the pale blue morning sky. As if extinguished like a candle, the small stars quickly disappeared after the brilliant sun shed its rays across the morning. This also gave view to unknown vessels off the portside. Captain Tito knew it was the Mycenaens, recognizing the green flag that flew high a'massed. Quickly he glanced to the north, being completely empty.
The admiral always carried with him a horn shell from the shores of Semer. Quickly placing it to his lips, he forced the air through his powerful lungs, and thus creating the warning sound. Immediately men began appearing ondeck, and as the admiral panned to his right, the whole fleet of more then a hundred boats began stirring. It was time for war, and the Semerian navy was preparing.
An hour later, the missiles began to flow from one fleet to the next. The arrows pierced the flesh of many soldiers on his boat alone, and for some time Tito thought that this was going to be the end, his fleet destroyed from a few volleys of arrows. But it still pushed on, and soon the melee started. Immediately his soldeirs were able to show their superiority with the blade as the Myceneans began to board his ships. However powerful his men were, they were still outnumbered. But this was not the end.
Soon the horizons on the north, south and east sides were fully of many dark dots. Those dots soon grew. And soon enough, they took the form of boats, and showed many people upon this boats. It was the Grand Fleet, the Semerian trick. While still outclassed and outtrained (these were mere conscript men), the Myceneans were surrounded. Soon, the Mycenean reserves that they were planning on using later were attacked, and the battle had suddenly turned sides.
Taking his chance, Tito retreated his fleet back to Semer. The Grand Fleet would not win, it was expected not to win. However, the battle did deal a huge blow to the Mycenean physcy, and proved Semeria's worth on the waves.
