Snoopy's Terrain Graphics Modpack for Conquests

Snoopy's Terrain Graphics v4.5 for Civ3 Conquests (C3C) 2016-10-05

@Civinator: Thanks thanks thanks!

Welcome dexters. And I think, this "thanks" also belongs to Virote_Considon, who helps everybody with his enormous knowledge about Civ3, too. :)

Now with the path I showed you in the scenario properties, you can easily switch between the different variants of Sn00pys Terrain in PTW: If you add an "G" or an "X" to Sn00pys Terrain in the path, the mod or scenario shows this version of the terrain, if you delete these additional letters, the mod again shows the Sn00pys basic terrain. But don´t forget to add the missing files in one of the ways that we did tell you.

In the near future Vuldacon´s version, a combination of Sn00pys seaterrain with his marvellous "shelf-coast" and the watercolour terrain, will be available with AoI 4.

Yes, I do over Virote_Considon a thanks as well :)

RE: path, I was having trouble getting the path to work. Can you write it for me, assuming my mod is in the conquests scenarios folder but itself has no folder.

Yes, if it's a mod, you would have to replace the terrain in the mod folder (usually in Conquests/Scenarios/(ModName)/Art/Terrain folder).

If it's an regular non-mod game, you would need to replace the terrain in the Conquests/Art/Terrain folder. (Don't advise doing this, but if you do, make a back up of the original terrain first FOR SURE)

Always make a backup FIRST! If you don't, the other terrain is gone forever!

Let know if this helps or not.

Not the download, I already have the file in my computer. :p

I was talking about the image link the notepad file I had here and the main post tells people to visit to check out the differences between the original terrain and Snoopy's terrain. ;)

CCJ39!!! Where've/how've you been, and where have you hidden Kindred72?? :hammer:

Best Regards,

:Dz

I was still here all the time, but due to some missing free time no such active for Civ4 like for Civ3 ;) ... in addition it wasn't so important to improve the graphics for Civ4 after the BlueMarble-Mod and thus I've only created an extended gameplay and the gametrainer of course... for Civ5 I don't know at the moment if I'll create any kind of mod or not... for some unknown reason I don't like to play it so often as Civ3 or Civ4 ^^

however, I haven't heard anything from Kindred72 in the last months/years

Hey gang, i downloaded the terrain and all works well. Now, I've made my own mod with 55-60 units on it. So I moved all my files over my "MY MOD" and noticed without doing anything with civEDIT, the terrain loads on its own when you load the scenario. My question is, lol thats it? I don't have to do anything inside of civEDIT?

Yep, that's it - Civ will read "standard" scenario/mod files in a strict order. Yours is just a mercifully easy example.
