The higher the tower, the greater the fall.

Maybe we should start a CFC Amnesty International letter writing team. That seems a good way to leverage what people like to do here, namely write, to do some good in the real world.

There are a lot of problems with suboptimal policy choices.
Take North Korea. They are using Fascism and waste their only economy slot on God King. I mean, that policy is really only needed to get a pantheon. And then they run Serfdom and Collectivization in their wildcard slots but don't train any Builders or Traders, and use Gunboat Diplomacy when they're completely ignoring Envoys. Total fail.
And don't get me started with America. Thousands of homeless, too little Amenities, and yet they refuse to get back on New Deal. They have Arsenal of Democracy and are deliberately pissing off their allies and reducing international trade. Now they're even putting Military First in a wildcard slot when they're already paying through the nose on unit maintenance, and despite their huge armies they still can't finish off a couple of barbarian encampments in the middle east. Is it just me or has the America AI in particular gotten dumber ? Although, England isn't very effective either. Economic Union isn't a particularly good policy, but if you have all these Harbors and Commercial Hubs it's not the worst. Especially if you already have big Ben and Adam Smith.

Serfdom ? More like Caste System. Actually not that bad if you already have Mercantlism and the Statue of Liberty. I think he should also take Representation and Pacifism and really commit to specialists. Yes, war weariness is pretty high and unit maintenance is an issue, but I think all the synergy would compensate for that. With some Merchants and all the :science: from Repesentation he could easily spend 20% on :culture: to keep the citizens happy, and Pacifism will give him Great People to found corporations in a city with Wall Street.

Since when is Trump going to spend 20% on :culture: ?

Because Trump wants to count up his happy faces, duh.

Serfdom ? More like Caste System.

Meh, I thought Serfdom fit best with the 'building the wall' (presumably represented on the map by tile improvements of some kind?) and reducing the US labor force to dependent peons.

Make <YourCiv> Great Again. Deconstructs the Administrative State. Over the next four to eight turns, your civilization gradually loses the bonuses of Written Constitution, Checks and Balances and Universal Suffrage that you may have gradually acquired during the Industrial and Modern Era. Any progress toward Universal Healthcare is immediately suspended. A check of the Adviser Screen (ctrl-V) will show that new Advisers are governing some key civilizational resources so that your Public Schools now suffer a 20% decrease in output, and the health of your citizens a 20% decrease. Immediate 20 point diplomacy penalty with all other civilizations, increasing by at least 5 points per tweet turn. Disables Cultural, Diplomatic and Science Victories. This policy can be chosen only if your Radio Towers have spawned Despicable Person Steve Bannon.

Are these civ 6 mechanics? I'm confused af right now

My own's just a mish-mash, including some social policies that I don't think are in any of the iterations, but that I just tried to make sound Civ-y. Other posters, I think, have played the game as Hygro intended, drawing exclusively from the social policies available in their favored number.

Trump wants to capture Mexican cities to build walls in them and then he gonna give tham back so that The Mexicans would pay maintenance for them walls. Second on the agenda is moving the Palace to NYC where the Trump Tower is (shrine for the new religion called Trumpism) to minimalize distance to capital maintenance costs and earn some serious :gold: from the cieties that follow Trumpism multiplied by 100% from Wall Street... :D
