So what am I doing wrong?

I decided to try a game as the Lanun. Been awhile since I've played Pirates! and I has the taste.


So, the Sailor's Dirge pops up right next to and takes out a traveling Drown.

I finished the Black Wind and waited until the Dirge dared to come back out and promptly sank it.

A few turns later, I am at war with the Calabim, but cannot attack their ships with the Wind.

What am I missing here?

I can't think of many reasons; did it already attack that turn? Are there two Calabim tribes and you are attacking ships of the other by mistake?

I just happily share space with their caravel... combat is not an option....

Besides... the Wind is still HN so should be able to attack any ship it sees, right?

No idea why this wouldnt be working for you. Land attacks are working correctly?

Kyroshill, is the caravel in your territory? Did you, by any chance, found the Council of Esus? I have no idea how Nox Noctis effects Privateer style units, but this is one of those bugs that sounds like the shrine may be making things nutty again.
