Yeah, this game is definately a mess. Rome, Carthage, and Delhi are all a moments walk away from my capitol. I believe Paris is to.
I took CoL with Oracle because I figured this game is going to be an easy win and I might try a new victory path. Every game Ive played I went for space ship and I thought maybe I could do a Cultural victory since I think that seems like the most fun way to win.
I might start over again and see what kind of alternate paths I can take with it. I like the idea of farming for specialists, but it isnt very effective for whipping chariots as opposed to axemen. I think I tend to lean towards carl corey's opinion on that matter, but Im hardly a good civ player.
One final note, this is a Pangaea game, not continents. Its only the second time Ive played Continents before. Standard size, medium water, temperate, etc.
