Absolutely agreed. So would Poland. Unfortunately, they only decided to add 10 civs. Why not twenty?

We can easily get rid of 1-2 civs now, which is strongly recommended. Poland and Israel are very strong candidates, Hungary is a weaker one (but still).

All I'm doing is renaming the civ in the mod I'm planning. I suggest to all whom are so utterly querulous on this issue to do the same.

I'm calling the current "Germany" "Prussia" and the "HRE" "Austria". Done deal. Although I thought they would avoid the HRE based on the confusion:

Me: "I'm being invaded by the Romans! No, not those Romans! The other ones!"

@Healz: Umm...the Aztecs are already in the game, and the Maya are being added. Your post doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

When I go on these threads, I always see the same people complaining. I always see the same people defending. The fact is, the vast majority of people don't care.

The reason people get upset about the HRE is they think it took Poland's place because its a European civ. However, we don't know. What would happen if they unveiled Austria instead of HRE? People would complain about Poland not getting in.

Exactly! One of the smartest comments I read in all those HRE-threads!

I disagree. People would be complaining that Austria would be to much like Germany, But no one is gonna complain about Poland because Austria and Poland probably had the same chance of getting in.
