They are doing things in reverse... usually they might put 2d pics up first, then post 3d later as an exciting new thing for us! It's like they are going back to Civ 2 days here. EDIT: they are probably just doing some fixes or updates.

Uhm, where do you see non-animated pictures? When I look at the civ5 website, all 18 leaders are moving and talking.

Ah. All were working earlier, so they do exist. Possibly some maintenance or site overload.

I thought the animated Alexander looked pretty dorky, and the mesh for his hair looked plasticy. But the leader icon they've got up now looks pretty awesome. Hopefully his 3d model will match it in the finished product.

I think they're just tweaking things on the site. Hopefully one of the tweaks will be to add Babylon.

They're selling it as a bonus extra, not part of the main game.

Respectfully disagree with that. I think the leaders were very impressive and hearing them talk in their native language will make the game more entertaining. Really liked all of the videos for different reasons. I think they need to tweak a few here and there, but really that's all.

I also heard the Chinese spoken by Wu Zetian was not proper, maybe they are redoing her voice.
I also hope they are editing Oda Nobunaga, he sounded a bit strange, and he looked an RPG character with all those swords.

Did Wu Zetian wear a corset in the animation? Thew clothing sure was very different(and more revealing) from the concept art.

Yes, graphics were impressive, but they are small compared to how they will be in-game.

In-game they will be full high-quality resolution taking up the whole screen. If Civ 5 was in 3d, you would probably think you were there.

I didn't like Monty's voice. Sounded too forced. And the Arab leader sounded like an American speaking Arabic, not a native speaker.
