The ghost doesn't seem to be your enemy, just somewhat confused and rather particular about home security. You might consider an exorcism by a good locksmith.

Only other rational explanation would be space aliens and one of the three of you is being abducted, likely the lizard considering the change in its behavior. Getting a space alien anal probe will do that, trust me.

You give me too much credit. I wish I had the foresight to pull off a long-term prank like this, but this is actually happening to me and I wold like to get to the bottom of it. I think I'm going to find a way to set up the camera without my wife knowing about it (just in case she's the one doing it).

I've had something similar happen with my car. I always park it with the windows up and the sunroof down. Several times I've gone to get in my car of a morning and windows were down and the sunroof was up. I think it has something to do with the electronics not a ghost.
