Sons of Mars III - Trollish Echidnas Not Included

Given that there's no land routes to Asia yet, I arranged for Greece to build a single navy; 25 armies have arrived in Greece and will be ready to move to the front next turn. 25 have stayed at home to protect France.

===

We still need orders from:

-Rome
-Denmark
-Partitionania
-501st Legion

I'll set the deadline as 24 hours-ish.

French soldiers in minor asia.

Today the french nation once again saw its braveness by volunteer to fight in the side of the europeans against the barbarian asians. Its time for a new thermopyle and a new alexander the great. Long live france and europe!!

SBAG welcomes the French with open arms, and wishes to cement further good relations with a formal alliance.

We are proud to fight with the heirs of alexander the great. Also what do you think abou trade?

After hearing the enthusiasm from France. The German Republic is willing to send the Nassau Super Battleship to patrol the coast off of Caucasus on the side of the Greeks to observe the situation.

(OOC: Question, the roman numeral on my fleet (I call them Battleship/Carrier Battle Group. Depending if the lead ship in question is a battleship or carrier class warship) does that indicate how many battle groups (fleets) there are total? I should have gone as England so I can properly role-play a proper naval power :p)

Number on the left = Number of ships
Number on the right = Troops on board

Double post

You made a double post.

So basically, I claimed territory RIGHT BESIDE my own country, the Greeks BLITZKRIEGED across Anatolia to get to it, and I'm seen as the aggressor? And now, instead of fighting an even war which was going to simmer down people are beginning to dogpile me? Who are the real barbarians?
Think about that.

Persian scums, alexander the great will be revived to destroy you.

Angola would like to point out that Persia won the Battle of Thermoplyae, not the Greeks.

The Angolan Commonwealth supports Persia against the French imperialists, but we cannot afford to send military or financial aid currently.

The Kingdom of Christ has to say the Kingdom in the East has a point. The Germans and French joining the war are doing so unjustly.

But 300 greeks gave their life for europe, democracy and their nation, their homeland. 300 greeks fought against 1,000,000 persians and stand for 3 days. Only after a traitor betrayed them they were defeated. The greeks won a moral victory. And France isnt imperialist. We dont want land or money. We want to volunteer and help the heirds of alexander the great against the asian barbarians. We ask nothing in return. We only want to see this barbarians return back to Iran and let free minor asia, a greek land with greek history of thousands years.

Were only sending a battleship battle group to patrol the seas, were not opening fire on them. The German Republic did not declared war against the Persians.

Who fought and sujugated more armies? The Persians. Darius started with less than Alexander did and conquered himself an Empire. He died, and Xerxes actually reconquered the empire in half-a-year. I hate how when people think of the Persians they immediately think of Thermopylae and Alexander. So typical. When I think of the Persians, I think of a group of people that managed to fight their way to the top of the political food chain through conquest and alliances.

The battle of Thermopylae was actually fought between 7000 Greeks and 100000 to 300000 Persians. The movie 300 is completely Hollywoodized.

And then they were deafeted by a few greeks and some years later destroyed by alex.

OOC: Be glad Dach is not playing this game, he'd bring the entire book of Greek History ;).

ooc: As a greek i have to defend greek history even in this game. Also i have 26 books. :p

The Greeks weren't fighting for Europe or democracy... and your numbers are completely skewed. Gem Hound's account is much more accurate.

Oh, alright.

Edit2: Never mind, just noticed GH's post.
