Germany Undergoes Reconstruction

After getting hit with two successive natural disasters and an indirect hit from biological weaponry that crippled it's industrial base. Germany said that enough was enough and begun a project of rebuilding it's industry. With two new trade slots opened, both One Vision and Germany signed a trade pack. Word has yet arrived from Vienna to reestablish a trade network.
The military brass voiced opposition to cuts to their military budget, but the government rebuked the top command that the industrial base needs to be rebuilt quickly. The Military Command reluctantly backed down and accepted the fact that Germany's industry needs to be beefed up.
In the afternoon, Germany sent a message to Rome that their use of biological wepons against Germany was unjustified and warned that any further use of biological agents against Germany that is in no way in shape or form involved with the Franco-Roman war will see a Blitzkreg across the Roman Remnant.

Treaty of Hamburg transfers Alsace Protectorate
Hamburg, Germany
French and German leaders met in Hamburg to discuss the transfer of Alsace back to the French. The Germans acquired Alsace after the Roman insurgents detonated a WMD that decimated the territory and Germany sought to claim it to avoid other third party nations from grabbing hold of the province.
The province has no ties to Germany, other than humanitarian services that were offered to the people of Alsace. Hense the government placed the province as a protectorate.
Both Hanna and Christos Napoleon signed the Treaty of Hamburg marking the official transfer of Alsace to their French neighbors in exchange for four gold, to which Germany will use to rebuild it's industrial base.

Meanwhile, the people of Liechtenstein have been called to approve an Anschluss with Germany.
Under the proposed Treaty of Vaduz, Liechtenstein would give up control of its foreign policy, military, and various economic regulatory powers to Germany. While the city-state would retain some autonomy(such as the state choosing its own governor, aka the Prince), the Prince states that the Germans have showed incredible charity to Liechenstein, allowing it to prosper and become incredibly wealthy at its own expense when it could have traded with nations wealthier in absolute terms.

Liechtenstein, having an economy of 4.62, if joined with Germany, would produce a nation of 56 provinces. The Industry would be (4.62 * 1) + (1.25 * 55) / 56, or 1.31. The many cultural and economies ties between the nations, the Prince feels, justify further integration. Germany has remained friendly and peaceful... desirable qualities in a world consumed by anarchy and discord.

France, while in pieces, is determined to get rid of the Romans. Its armies move in, hoping to free Paris before the Romans fire off their newly-assembled arsenal.
The first battle is to drive the Romans out of their homeland.

Of course, the Romans lose both fleets. Either way, Germany's technically been at war since the start of the turn, so their claims have been revoked. Liechtenstein's willingness to be annexed, however, makes up for it.
Back to the French, they order 5 armies to roll into Paris.

What remains of the Roman leadership being totally insane, they made sure to do as much damage as they could before they were thrown in the dustbin of history. Bioweapons, it is decided, do far more damage than PBs on a small scale.
As such, Rome spends the last of its money shooting two PBs towards the wealthiest and most developed of the nations that went against it - One Vision. One last trollolololol.

One Vision is reduced from Industry 1.53 to 1.38. Little under 10% of the population is killed.
Fortunately, OV can only infect Singapore and Britain due to its isolation.

29 of its 52 provinces are Roman.
(29 * 1.41) + (23 * 1.23) / 52 = 1.33. France gets an economic boost from the war. By next turn, all the PB damage will be done... and it can resume expanding.
Overall, France has actually come out well. It has almost as many provinces as any peaceful player would have, and using the threat of war, could re-colonise all of Western Europe and return to prominence.
France is also left with 137 gold to spend on whatever.

French people. Our army has destroed the occuupation gonverment. Now we have to re-built our nation. Its time to re-create the fench nation from the start.

But things arent goning so well for france:
The french civil war:
The french soldiers who fought in this war and saw their families and friends die have joined the communist party, that after the communist revolution became outlawed, and said that Christos is an imperialist scum and puppet of OV and want the war to stop. Christos, prime minister and now gonvernor of france, have taken the title of gonvernor to rule france for 10 years in order to re-built it and then election would happen. So he tried to create a universal gonverment with as many partys as he can. But he didnt invited the communist party because he said that it was outlawed. Now almost 3/5 of the fench army, along with workers and farmers, have rebeled and asked for the creation of a communist state. The french gonverment responded by destoying 3 towns in france and killing 20,000 citizens that supported the communists. The communists started war in the mountains against the gonverment and declared the Peoples republic of France. After 17 battles 12,000 soldiers were killed but the civil war has just started!
