There is a Gods of War track with just the music somewhere... I have it on my computer somewhere among my thousands of tracks.

@Praetyre
0AD has some really good soundtracks if you want to use them for the Classical Era. Its an open source game so I assume the music could be used.

Note they are .wav files so someone would need to convert them into .mp3 files.
Download and installation instructions are available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. 0 A.D. is free of charge and always will be. Although you might find some people selling copies of 0 A.D. on physical media, you will always have the option to download 0 A.D. from us over the internet, completely gratis. Moreover, you can redistribute the game and modify it freely, as long as you abide by the GPL. You can even use parts of the art and sound for your own projects as long as you abide by CC BY-SA. No "freemium" model, no in-game advertising, no catch.
1. You have to right click and save as.
2. Well it says this ...
The question is what is the CC BY-SA?

These tracks Definitely sound like civ material.
At the end of the day, what's the likelihood that any new music will make its way from the SVN to v28?
So is there an xml file available to integrate the soundtrack files into the game? I could probably write a stupid little VBA script to build the xml, but why bother if someone already has the magic... ;-)
Indeed. There are some folders in the soundtrack folder that are named something like era name + New. When you drop some music files in there, they are automatically added when you start or load a game (requires restart to take effect though).AIAndy already did that, he wrote a python music script back at the start of the year that does just that. It automatically triggers on load.

Unfortunately only adding works at the moment, so best keep an unchanged version of the XML files around.Cool... Looking at it now. Will it regenerate the xml files if I erase them?
