the zip is empty again..

try this: open your explorer, find the save, then right-click it and choose: add the ****.zip.... that should do

Our military:

12 workers
7 warriors
1 archer
24 spearmen
10 swordsmen
3 horsemen
2 pikemen
4 catapults
1 galley
2 war chariots

(0) 470AD: Ok, my analysis of the situation is we have expanded very well, but we badly lack civic buildings, such as libraries and marketplaces. It would be *great* if we could snare Sun Tzu's Art of War. That is a very good wonder for a non-militaristic Civilization in an Always-War game.

My aims for this turn are to build lots of civic improvements, while maintaining our military strength.

(1) 480AD: The Russians complete Sun Tzu's Art of War; so much for that idea. We don't have any wonders at all yet :-/ Ack! We have lots of guys on goto commands.

(2) 490AD: Horsemen who was on goto command is in the open and killed by Greek horseman (rolls eyes). The Chinese have established another city on our continent. We'll have to destroy it.

(3) 500AD: Massing for an attack on Sparta. Our defending elite war chariot defeats an attacking regular horseman. Attack a hoplite who is on 1 with a veteran archer, our archer loses :-/

(4) 510AD: Undefended Greek Settler captured :)

(5) 520AD: moved outside of Sparta. A veteran horseman lost to a defending regular archer (but no killer, we are not taking hitpoints up! :) )

(6) 530AD: horsemen around Sparta attack us, and weaken our attack force I decide to counterattack the horsemen rather than attack the city. It is going to be hard to take this city.

(7) 540AD: I see a Chinese galley coming towards our shores, and figuring it has units on it, I attack with our galley, but lose 4-2.

(8) 550AD: The Chinese galley drops off a pikeman and a settler. The Greeks drop an archer off next to the undefended city of Busirus. Oops.

(9) 560AD: The Greeks capture Busirus, and then their regular archer fights off my veteran horseman. Argghh!

(10) 570AD: We complete the Forbidden Palace.

(11) 580AD: We recapture Busirus from the Evil Greeks. Ok, I'm getting a little frustrated with this to be honest, so I think it's time to hand over to the next person :)

Our military:

12 workers
7 warriors
25 spearmen (+1)
8 swordsmen (-2)
3 horsemen
2 pikemen
2 war chariots
0 galleys (-1)

I don't like those military stats! :-/

At least we got a few civic buildings completed. Thebes is full on buildings, so we can churn military out of there, while trying to get marketplaces and libraries in the rest of our core cities.

Sirp: mail, please!

I get kind of frustrated by Netscape, I tried to get help and again they claimed I should free HD space (10 GB free), memory (I have 512MB!!!) and buy a faster CPU (1.1GHz not enough?????). So, I still can't DL attachments (btw: same thing with IE and most DL-managers :()

preturn - nothing

(1) 580 AD - nothing

(2) 590 AD - Greek land Horseman next to undefended Athribis - killed by

Chariot. Troops near Sparta too weakto attack.

(3) 600 AD - Greece bring two Horsemen into striking-distance of Buto.

Good thing ! just rushed a Pikeman there! The Pikeman in Tatung is killed,

but our Chariot gets killed by defending Spearman :( Two horsemen fail to

hurt the Hoplite running around near Abydos. Luckily, both retreat. 3

citizens of Sparta are hit by stones we sent hurtling over the walls.

(4) 610 AD - the Temple of Sparta is destroyed and both defenders hurt by

our catapults. We take the town (1 swordsman lost) and capture a catapult.

Revenge for our Chariot: the hurt Horseman kills the last defender of

Tatung. The town has just grown and so we can keep it :D

(5) 620 AD - luckily, the Ai is too dumb to concentrate its forces... our

wounded troops outside Sparta stay unbothered while a Horseman attacks the

town. our Swordsman is promoted to elite :D Then, a ****ing Horsie kills

our Pikeman in Buto! A horseman revenges him, now, there is only one

Hoplite on the loose on the road to Hieraconoplis. i move all Swordsmen

into Sparta and bombard the two Archers threatening it, kill them, then

make a Horseman retreat. Can't do anything about the Horseman in the

south..... :(

(6) 630 - our swordsmen valiantly fight back against the Greece Hosrsemen,

no losses on both sides. Giza completes Library, set to Marketplace.

Mendes founded right next to barbarian camp.

(7) 640 - China lands two swordsmen near Tatung. i retreat our Horseman

out of it. Our two Horsemen from Abydos now kill the Hoplite near there,

one Horsie doing no damage and dying, the other killing the Hoplite. The

hoplite near Hieraconpolis is dispatched by a Swordsman without HP-loss :D

(8) 650 AD - moving troops, Greece has massed units near Sparta. I kill 1

Horseman, make another retreat, kill two Archers.

(9) 660 AD - Chivalry in 7. settlers oredered, need to fill up our

coastline so the Chinese cannot land settlers this easily.

(10) 670 AD - China wants to talk - well, we'd need peace ther, but can we

let these slit-eyes live????? ;) Greec looses a Horsie, promoting our

Swordsman to elite. I knew this was gonna come: the Chinese found Macao!

But the idiots move their swordsemen out of Tatung and our Horsemna

destroys the town (suicide mission).

(11) 680 AD - Greec looses two Horsemen, two Archers. There's a Pikeman in

Macao - can't go for it with Chariot. Move Horsemen near ex-Tatung to kill

the two Swordsmen, our Horsie that destroyed Tatung has fled their

counterattack. Athens found, Swordsmen and Catapults move there.

Our military:

1 settler +1
12 workers (that's enough right now I think) +-0

7 Warriors +-0
1 Archer +1
25 Spearmen +0
8 Swordsmen +-0
8 Horsemen +5
2 pikemen +-0
6 Catapults +2
0 Galley +-0
1 Chariot (elite)

Chivalry in 5 with -5 gpt atm. This calls for a leader, then a

three-Knight-Army

stats are not oo nice, but sinc we will be set for military prod now and

get Chivalry soon again I shifted to Horsemen. WEs hould be able to

upgrade tow or three and quickly build another two in the powerhouses

(Thebes give a Horsie in 2 turns); that shoudl suffice for Greece and the

Cinese landings.

Ok, will play now, but will only be able to play 5-10 turns because I have a cast on my right arm and can only type with one arm.
