I also thought it should have ended at DEAD. not injured, sappy death scene, fake ending (screen black and seems like credits about to show up), sappy funeral, depressed minute, sappy love scene, fake ending, another sappy love scene.

The movie was far too long and there were very boring parts in the middle that should have been cut. I also thought the ending was lame. The sandman special effects were awesome, but that was to be expected.
My verdict: The film didnt meet the bar set by the first two films. Good, but not great. It wont be the #1 money maker of the year.

yeah spiderman was way to girly in that movie. Besides it lacked mysterio, #1 most awesome spidey villain of all time.

yeah, i was rediculously unimpressed by venom in the 3rd movie, what that movie needed was some serious Rhino action. Yeah, that would be sweet.
It was a good movie. I liked the first one the best, and the second one after that, so I don't think the third movie was better than either of the earlier two, but it was still good. Better than most of the crap Hollywood puts out these days. Worth a watching if you enjoyed the two earlier films.

Even though it was two and a half hours long I still felt as though they crammed the ending with a bunch of deus ex machinas, and way to many things just got crammed period, we didnt even get venom till the last twenty minutes, and we didnt get to see him in action much anyway, and again, way to many convininet deus ex machinas kept popping up, I hate those, they bug the crap out of me. I was really hopeful for this one, there was a lot of crap in there to that shouldnt of been, and not enough explanation of most things. It was still good though, but I went in thinking, ok, now spiderman is fighting an enemy hes on footing with, they have the same "style" and it wasnt that cool.
also, i think instead of a random metoer with no explanation, mary janes old boyfriend from the first one should have somehow brought it back and become venom as a revenge deal......I dont know. He was an astronaught though, and it would have made more sense. And the sandman seemed way to thrown in there, all the dancing crap was just dumb. But when it did get good, it was good, just not mindblowing like it should have been.

It was good, but not great. They should have spent more time on Venom. I felt the end of the movie was kinda rushed too. I also felt Gwen Stacy should have been shown more, given how important she was in the comics.
