Only problem with picking Bureau is that you may get dogpilied, but if you are less than 20 turns from maces then you should be able to pull it off IMO.

I should be Ok since G_W wants to work on peace. However i am building up a chariot stack just incase he axe rushes me.

(he has already told me he has no iron so no praetorians)

To add insult to injury i get a GS next turn

If you had gotten the GS earlier, you could have bulbed philo and then used the oracle on paper. Not useful, but very cool.

haha no.

My thoughts are this. General_W and are are becomming close allies. This bodes well for me. I can expand north and support him in his first war. While if I tried i could take if out, if i didn't it would stunt both of us (maybe leave him hanging on by a thread) but limit my chances at winning.

I have given him Iron for copper. So he can build praetorians. I am getting construction for Cats. My biggest limiting factor was my cap. However after some slick trades I have Monarchy so will use units as my buster until G_W gets calendar (trading for construction) this still leaves my monopoly on CoL and CS.

One of your city signs is impossible to settle, it's too close to the capital. You need to settle on the pigs to get a city there; I think it'll have the fish, so it's OK, still...

Gotta say, slightly disappointed in city placement; you should have settled the blue circle city and irrigated the banana a fair time ago instead of Tiwanaku. Pushing the tech pace at the cost of food since CS will hurt your long term potential.

So here is how my turned opened up. I wanted to send the chariot East to Fog bust but it looks like I was a couple turns to late.

So I need to massively change my plans to ward this off. Good news is I have X-Bows in production now. and Maces on thier way up. Bad news is nothign gets to that city in time, so that leaves me with 2 chariots to try and dance.

Other goods news is G_W no longer has iron from what i can see. unles ronnie or AT trade it back to him. I also have a Tireme in production to go mess with his sea food.

This is the diplomatic letter I sent this turn:

3 of them and a chariot? Seems a little excessive for a barbarian town no?

If it was a simple misunderstand your troops can just turn around as that barb city I was planning on adding to my empire once it hit size 2. At size 1 it will be just be razed.
IF you move and take that city I will consider that declaration of war against me and will have to begin to prepare. The Maces are on their way north….

If however as mentioned it was an misunderstanding, and the troops just turn around no harm no fowl and we can go back to our original arrangements….

I have cancelled the OB and the trade for Iron, because I can’t take any chances…but if you troops turn around please reoffer these as they see fit for you.

I havn’t finished the turn yet because I need to do some simming out so I have the right forces in the right places…..You’ll have it soon.

everyone stopped trading with me (even at 4 t o1 )

AT and Ronnie ar gifting units to G_W. all techs they are researching are exclusive and they trade them as soon as they discover them.
