SPORE the NES: Cell Phase

Hairy Cell Evolutions

1.) Develop a nucleus
2.) Create a poison on the hairs of my cells that breaks down the membranes of other cells allowing my cell to enter and asorb the nutrients
3.) Develop something similar to the horn that allow me to insert DNA that changes their production weakening their cell walls defense by allowing my poison in through the membrane. (Don't know what to call this????)

Action: Mainly target photosynthic cells for feeding and cells with nucleus for DNA replacement.

When's the next update?

Sometime between Saturday 6PM mountain time, and Sunday, 6PM mountain time. I have work*grumble*. Luckly, I'll get most of it done tomarrow, and just have to do the stuff that arrives on saturday.

@TheLoneMan: Regeneration is not really possible at this time. you get damaged, you die, since you are only a single cell. maybe in creature stage.

Got it. Evolutions adjusted accordingly (post edited).

Gelions Orders

Evolutions:
Photoreceptors - for the goal of sensing more "food" (light = energy)
Advanced Particle Feeding: You can now eat the debris around you for nutrition.
Photoconservation [will think of a better name] - ability to covserve the "light" energy when there's too much around to be used later. Goal - continuous growth.

If I cant have Advanced Particle Feeding then I'd go with Basic Cilia
Spoiler for TerrisH :

Goal - grow fast and faster in cell numbers

If you are not TerrisH and you are! then you haven't seen this...

Need More Brains to Impove your senses Gelion, since Photo receptors would improve your sight-sense stats. I'll Just swich it to a basic Nuclus till next turn.

The Lone Man: Like I said to gellion, you need Avilible Brain stats to Improve your senses. I'll swich it over to Basic nuclius for you for now.

Only Missing Orders From ThomAnder. get it in!

Thanks for that TerrisH. Eagerly awaiting the update...

Um... I also evolved a basic nucleus, so doesn't that create an available brain stat?

whops.. my bad...
Update.. in the next 2-3 hours. It's done.. but I have to make the map, and run it through grammer and spellcheck.

EDIT: or not.. must fight drowsyness. getting sleepy. Everything done Except the map..

might Post in the next 30 minutes, might sleep and post in 9 or so hours. eh.. we'll see.

Ah good. Update momentarly.. Just need to Let this thing charge up a bit..

The Enruina has continued to evolve, becoming one of the multitude of light feeding cells that now proliferate the pool. It now has a total of five tendrils surrounding it, which it uses quite well to deter the casual predator.

The Xeonii seem to have hit a snag in their evolution, and have seemingly not evolved at all.

The Chip has improved, and becoming an even bigger bully. It has developed a primitive aqua-jet, along with a hard, exterior cell wall. While it has lost all semblance of controlling it's movement, few get in it's way, and anything that it hits has become past tense. It has also started to decline in population as it's feeding method begins to fall behind it's high energy needs. Perhaps it will soon develop a way to feed on all these cells it goes around killing indiscriminately?

The Oshidi has become the golden cell of the pool. It has managed to streamline it's self by developing a pair of fins, and it has greatly improved the lethality of it's needle, hollowing it out to allow it to withdraw the nutrients out from the prey cells gooey center. When combined with it's ability to chemically sense the other cells around it, it is truly lethal. Few cells have managed to escape being preyed upon by this quick and nimble predator.

The Ganneum Rubus has become a decent and proliferatet light eating cell. It has managed to improve it's self all around, developing cilia, a needle, and an internal cell wall. While it has yet to show any exceptional characteristic, the fact that it is decent all around has managed keep it's population high.

The Adam has advanced a bit, improving all around. It has added to it's repatar an internal cell wall, a method to feed on debris, and some basic cilia to improve it's movement. Though it is still primarily a filter feeder, due to the low amount of debris at it's current location.

The Basta has continued to plod along, improving itself down in the depths of the of the pool. In addition to it's unusual method of feeding off the chemicals that seep into the bottom of the pool, it has also begun to feed on the debris around itself. To better facilitate this, it has developed an external cell wall and some cilia.

While still quite slow and not all that powerful, the Magnus Blobbus has become a force to be reckoned with, at least, to those that it can catch. And that is still quite a lot. It moves slowly, steadily, and engulfs it's prey, dissolving it. It's slowness and soft exterior dose make it an inviting target to other predator cell. But it only has to really fear the Oshidi.

The Eve has prospered, developing a form of abiotic symbiosis(proto-life, amino acid chains and complexes that are part of what they believe produced membrane-bound organelles), and some basic cilia. This unique adaption has increase the seeming energy of the cell, and it seems to divide slightly more often.

The Hairy Cell has begun to prey exclusively on light feeding cells, and this strategy has met with quite the success. While it still occasionally stumbles accidentally into a non-light feeding cell, the light poison on the tips of its cilia, and it's hollowed out needle, it can quickly take down any prey.. Or stun a preditor long enough to get away.

The Expomanus has continued on it's path to become an excellent light feeder. It has developed a method of "photoconservation" to better store the energy it acquires during the light period. It had developed a nucleus, improving it's reproduction rates, and a method of feeding of the debris around it during the dark hours, though there is very little to feed upon on the upper layer of the pool.

Update done. Next one, Tuseday the 12, 6PM, Mountain time. Nih..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Magnus Blobbus
Evolutions: Vacuole (a seperate compartment within the cell, which can contain and break down large molecules for use later, lessening the digestion time, or contain molecules harmful to the cell (i.e. poison), rendering them harmless), Pseudopods (temporary projections from the membrane, which can be used to move, as well as to aid in engulfing the prey), Active Feeding Apparatus

Actions: Switch the filter feeding slot to debris feeding. Spread out--light has no meaning, since there's no sense of sight. Just go where the food is.

Ganneum Ruebus

Evolutions [Already Listed]: Basic Nucleus, Photoreceptors.

New Evolutions: Needle Barrier - rather than having a single sharp needle mounted on its front side [or what is presumably its front], its entire body is lined with them. Not so much an offensive ability as it is defensive.

Actions: Go towards the light! We can feed off it better now that we can see it. Well, sort of see it...

Hairy Cell

1.) Advanced Nucleus
2.) Chemical Receptors
3.) Abiotic Symbiosis
4.) NEW EVOLUTION- (Antler Cilia): The cell in developing more efficient ways to deliver toxins dveloped Antler Cilia. The cilia fine hairs on the body became stiffer growing fine hairs on them making them look like antlers. This has made defense and offense much more efficient.

Action: Continue preying on photosyntheic cells but cells preying on me may soon find themselves stunned longer then ever before thus becoming the prey.

Edit- OCC: Just noticed that Littleboots came up with Abiotic Synthesis which was a good idea. Incorporating it into my cell if alright :).

1) Advanced Nucleus
2) Hollow needle
De-evolve: Lose the cell wall, if possibly let it gradually mutate into a semi-permeable membrane.

Action: Start a'killin' whatev'r'n we's kin ketch.

Yahoo! Sorry I didn't post earlier. I need a few hours to think over my strategy now that it seems I am being eaten everywhere. Orders coming... soon.

The evolution for the Chip is the Sucker. Its a thing on the bottom of the cell that "sucks" up all the stuff the Chip kills. So he goes around killing and going super fast, and while he's doing it, any of the stuff he has alreayd killed get sucked up into him as nutrients.

Orders: KILL AND REPOPULATE1
