Spring Patch Info

I agree. Like how a city be loyal toward other civs just because they have religion? There is only a limited amount of religions so this is somehow easy to be abused by the AI.

It has real world realism...but it could make loyalty unmanageable all too often if you haven't founded a religion.

Climate change is a scientific fact, camel. Stop drinking the ACT bong water.

Of course it is. The climate always has changed and always will change. It's the details we disagree over.

Sorry xD but I don't see how that's a world realism. For example I am a Catholic does not mean that I prefer European country than my homeland.

Yet for a long time that was an issue. It is the reason that England/the UK eventually banned Catholics from the line of succession. It is one of the reasons that the U.S. has separation of church and State.

What does ACT mean?

ACT is a liberal party in NZ, and are skeptical about the excessive claims of climate alarmists.

What if I let other empire spread their religion to my country in order to have a better relationship with that country? If the loyalty mechanic is implemented with religion it would prevent this to happen.
It is also interesting if Firaxis add some feature like banning religion (like the Soviets did) in order to maintain loyalty, which in exchange for something negative I guess.

Oh and along with automating defensive spies mentioned above, and city state projects primarily aimed at making money, please automate renewing future techs and civics.

This never bothered me much before as well, but when you play the game a different way, this is becoming quite annoying. It's like Firaxis never thought people would play the game past the 2/3rds point. They should have anticipated these things.

Oh and Summer starts around June 21st or Junes 22nd. Even though we are well above 100F by that point, we really don't get past 110F until June 25th or so.

Wait.

Uhm.

Are you saying ~40C is NOT summer? That's like, time to move 2000km north.

"We" here excluding 95% of the scientific community. Not great company to be getting your information from.

Non ones excluding 95% of the scientific community. Do not misrepresent me.

This should not be a thread debating about climate change guys XD still controversial

I didn't bring it up - someone else did. All I did was point out to them, that if you're actually interested in what actual climate scientists say (as opposed to the activists that someone like Abraxis listens to), then more deserts as a result of the current trends in climate, that is the wrong way around. Less deserts are likely.
That is all.

ACT is a right wing party

thinking emoji

Act is an economically AND socially liberal party. i.e. they don't believe in much regulation on either axis. The labels left and right don't serve them well.

Again, I didn't bring them into this conversation - someone else did. But seeing as they have I'm not going to let the misinformation stand.

Still climate change in Civ 6 would be very interesting to try out though, with the UN (probably next expansion), Emergency, National Park, etc.

Nah, best left out given the current hysteria, unless they did something that had changes throughout the entire game. I would like to see seasons added cosmetically like the day/night cycle :) That'd look cool.

While you're at it I hear you can get mystical powers by staring into the sun every morning to drink its power. You two should go try it. :groucho:

Sure, why not lol ;)

If we're going that route then might as well
-let you choose your "state religion" based on religion with a majority in at least 1 of your cities, in case you didn't found one. Cities with a different religion gets a loyalty per pop penalty towards the owner civ and loyalty bonus towards civs with that religion as state religion.
-civs with same state religion gets relationship boost.
