SSNES: Fall of Wu'di

From: Rollux
To: Shaba

Agreed. Our traders will arrive within the next spring.

When peace reached Shaba at last, all the heroes from the war against the Triad and Wu'di were honored. Some were given medals, others was raised to nobility. The new generations of nobles were familiar with war, some of them only vaugly remembered peace. As a result they encased themselves in heavy armor and equipped themselves with 6 foot greatblades and lances. Their money was put to good use when they started constructing huge castles. Masons and stone were in demand, but was bought from bordering nations. The economy was rising and culture blossoming.

The two castles was facing each. They were standing on opposites hills, and a valley ran between them. The two barons had always been the best of friends, but an insult had been made and a challenge issued. No insult could stand undefeated, no true Bitran would leave it at that without a fight. These fights were usually non-lethal, but accidents do happen. The two barons stood facing each other with probably five hundred yards between them. Both clad in full plate armors, and sitting on the back of their mighty warhorses shouting challenges and trading insults.

"Art thou to weak to face me dog!" The first Bitran shouted, his visor was raised so he made no intentions to attack. "Thou dost know that thou art no match for me, an army of weaklings art no match for me"

"Nobody calls my mother a serf, and then calls me a bastard. Thou shouldst know that better than any." The other one shouted as he slammed his visor down and spurred his horse into a dead run.

The two were charging towards each other, lances down. The turf was hurled up under the thundering hoofs of the horses. A second before they clashed the so-called bastard stood in his saddle leaning forwards. The thrust was enough to hurl the first

Bitran out of his saddle and onto his back. Turning the horse he trotted back to where the knigt lay.

"Dost thou yield?" He asked.

"I have no choice but to yield, thou hat broken my leg. Thou art mighty sir knight and thou can no longer be called a bastard. Thou defeating me prooves you a true Bitran."

And thus was the matter setteled and honor upheld.

 Sounds painful to be a Bitran Knight.

The war to our west is worrying us. Is there any possibility for peace?

OOC: I demand a stat update.

I just recalled my threat about Scapegoat of the Round... :mischief: I know cleric was first, but he has a railgun. :scared:

Wait he lost 100 LI while I lost 3000? Calm down cleric put down the railgun.

You wiped out the republic of Tori, you did. They had quite a few men, and your troops were nearly exhausted from running around and snuffing out the pockets of rebellion when Soltyria landed. You barely made it back to defend Drach'nyen...

Okay that sounds like something plausible. *deactivates the railgun*

Did I mention that the stats are updated? Glad you chose not to kill me, Cleric. Friends? :)

He is moving closer.
The dark dawn is coming.
As their eyes turn to the west,
they do not see the dagger from behind.
The dark dawn is coming.
The dark prince is walking the lands.

From the ancient prophecy of Dhealos

The Creatures Arise

The sea of the dead was still moving, an ancient being in command. And with him knowledge the world long thought forgotten. The beast that walked the land in long forgotten times has now been raised from the grave. (Well not literally… this little story from a young shepherd will explain a little better.)

The last minutes of a now dead shepherd:

All in all it was a normal day. The cold had been harsh but the old farm that now stood without snow would hopefully be usable if some rain would come soon. But something felt wrong this afternoon. It was scarce with animals after the harsh weather but you could always se a rabbit somewhere or hear some birds sing. This day had neither. And the few animals they could save from the cold were acting weird. Something was wrong today and he could not shake off the feeling it would be the last day of his living life.

He could hear something that resembled a rumbling far in the distance. He just needed to climb one hill and he could see as far as he wanted. Exhausted from the climb to the top he stood still and watched, his face going white. What he saw could not be. But then he saw something that no man had ever seen. He saw the origin of the old beasts that once walked and now will walk again.

A statue stood in the middle of a sea of living dead. They where all standing some way from the dark figure except a small group. He could only estimate about 30-60 dead. But then something happened. The statue moved. And the dead where transformed to a giant beast. When he saw it he felt only one thing fear. It was not natural. It walked. It looked alive. But it was dead. He knew that. Somehow he knew that. Soon about 40 clusters of 5-10 persons each was transformed to smaller man like creatures. And beasts in every shape and figure began forming from the dead. It was still a sea. But it now looked like a sea with creatures swimming in it.

He did not move after that sight. He just stood there. And as the army marched by he soon found him self, face to face with a black figure. “Ehjal Werhal Ehjahan” it said with a tone full of disgust. “You mortals are weak.” The shepherd heard in his mind again and again.

The sea of dead moved on. One more servant. One day closer to the dark dawn.

I know im not the best story wrighter but i tried. I think i did a good job. I belive my english is quite bad but i think i dont have too much faults in this one this time... More too come... and you will see more of my little dark fellow in the future.

Alright, we had a change at heart. Peace will be signed if you secede the entire Turin peninsula out of your rule and allow us establish a new republic on it. You will not be given your water academy back. Should you interfeir in the internal affairs of the new republic you will force us to reassert control over all your land and re-establish rightful rule. Also, a NAP will be signed between the republic, you and us.

Will you agree?

To Soltyria
From Benethrezim

What if you give us back the entire peninsula as it is supposed to be , then send permanent investigators to constantly check up the legitimacy of the people's Senate? Any action the King does can be opposed and turned down by the Senate , as it was before your invasion.
You will also be able to keep the water academy, since we care for the reunification of the Benethim people.

Oooh! Diplomacy! This is going to be fun.... :)

Oooh! New avvie! I don't recognize it, though....

We have decided. It's a deal (In the terms you suggested) if you write a copy of Fire Magic to us (as compensation for the one we lost), we know you have the ability to do that, as you did that with Necromantic (Death) Magic. Also, we shall keep the Water Magic we have obtained. Also a NAP will be signed.

Agreed?

OOC: Steak, My avi is Lord Dio Eraclea from the Last Exile series. Quite good, highly suggested. :)

Amazing! Peace at last!
