Star Trek: Flag Set

This is a flag set designed for Deanej's forthcoming Star Trek Mod. The Civs included are:

United Federation of Planets
Klingon Empire
Romulan Star Empire
Cardassian Union
Ferengi Alliance
Dominion
Borg Collective
Kazon Collective
The Nineteen Tribes Of Hirogen
Vidiian Sodality
Breen Confederacy
Bajor
Krenim Imperium*
Devore Imperium

The Dowload includes flags, matching buttons, and two text files. One is a note on how to include these flags, and the other is the values that would need to be set in CIV4ColorVals.XML in order to have Team Colour almost exactly match the background colour of the flag/button.

*I could find no reference to a symbol or banner for the Krenim Imperium, so Deanej suggested that some use was made of the diamond shape that appears to be significant to them. The Krenim flag was thus entirely made up by myself featuring the diamond motif.

Anyways. When I try to open bajor.dds in gimp i get this.

How does above translate into what you made?? It works fine in game. Just wondering because I can't seem to make a flag if my life depends on it.

gimp doesnt open DXT3 DDS files. you need DXTBmp to do that

Haha, I thought that. There are nineteen circles (I'm sad enough that I counted them), I guess one for each of the tribes. Deanej's the Treker, I'm a fan but had to search on-line for a lot of the details.

Oh, and ClassicThunder, yes get DTXBmp, open the file in that then double click the main image and it'll drop it into GIMP. You may have to reload the alpha channel once you'v eedited it as it goes a bit wonky with flag file sometimes.
