Star Trek mod - The Next Generation!

Do you mean this :) (I hope this works)

...but this wasn't really "necromancy", since there was some previous discussion in March 2007.

Hey Aaglo, I hope you don't mind, but I nicked your Necro pic for my website and the thread necromancers there. :D

Now, as for the mod, as soon as we finish the Fallout mod, the ST mod is next.

Well then :band: [party] [party] :beer: for me. :cool: [party]

I missed my 1000, and had to go back and edit the post. It doesn't really work that way. ;)

And apologies for what has turned into a full scale threadjack.

I wasn't aware this thread was dead... :(

Hey Flamand, it wasn't - don't cry :)

Thor, I think I first saw that image posted by The Last Conformist... I don't know who dunnit though...

Ah ok, thanks to you and Keroro for the heads up. I needed something like this for my website. :D

Please help a noob. I downloaded the 0.8.3 version and installed the contents of the zip into programfiles/atari/civiiicomplete/scenarios/conquests/conquests. The mod shows up in the game menu, but I get an error. Where am I supposed to put the Civilopedia and Pediaicons text files? Thanks!

I am pretty sure thats the problem. The mod is set up for the following pathname;

C:/program files/Infogrames Interactive/Civilization III/Conquests/Scenarios/ Mod Name. A lot of folks who DLed the Fallout mod had this problem. If you have nothing special in your civ folder I would recommend reinstalling and when it asks for the pathname use this;

C:/Program Files/Infogrames Interactive/Civilization III

That way all the mods that were made before the civ complete version came out will be playable to. :)

Thanks Thor for helping out... ;)

Thanks Thorgrimm!

I managed to get Rhye's, Lord of Middle Earth and Playground running without error messages so I'm loathe to transplant everything to the orphan Infrogames folder. Will Star Trek look for a folder named Star Trek for the text files? If I stick those text files into existing folders, will I get overwriting of the regular game settings?

Thanks for any guidance!

The Files will look for this pathname;

conquests/scenarios/modname then either art/ or text

just transplant them to either of those pathnames and you should be good to go. :)

Question: Why is it that the Borg completely disregard my area of control? They're always in my territory. I know they want to assimilate my Feddie forces, but honestly, we're at peace for gods sake!

Very cool mod by the way, I've a friend who's a Star Trek fanatic and he really likes it.
