Star Wars Mod

Hi. I've been following the Star Wars mod since the Civ III days (though I was but a lurker), but now I'm at Empire at War, yadda yadda yadda, yeah. The mod so far looks very good. At the current rate your doing things, this will be a fun thing to play.

Wonders....Well....You could possibly put the Cathedral of the Winds in. Adds culture and a few gold revenue....along with.....possibly a free tech? I don't know.

The Maw Installation would be a good idea, though maybe as a national wonder. It would increase production and help decrease build times. Maybe like a factory without the unhealthiness. Could also let you have access to superweapons.

Intelligence agency to replace Scotland Yard? Possibly.....

Theed Palace, a cultural thing, possibly might do add something regarding to pacifism

Centerpoint Station....I can't think of any special abilities for it, though.

Can't think of anymore, but if you like these, I might post more. Keep up the good workiness....thing :)
 
Senate building-Forbiden palace
jedi temple - increases great person birth rate
imperial palace - puts a police station/jail in every one of your cities
vong world brain - can mildly control land (make water, change to desert)
 
Is there any plans for a release date of the new version? Thanks for all the hard work....I know this is a difficult mod. :goodjob:
 
I just downloaded this mod and so far it seems very good. was wondering if there will be any jedi ( or other force users) as units in later versions. I liked how the oceans have been replaced with a starfield makes for a real sci-fi feel. can't wait for uu and other incorps into the mod
 
i think lando should definately be in the leader of something
 
I would think Lando is either best suited for a good Smuggling type civ Leader or as a commerce-generating womanizing Hero. :D
 
Great merchant, Karrde and Booster Terrik too.

The Centerpoint Station is more of a mysterious artifact built by unknown aliens ages ago, a "big, dumb object". But if you have Rakatans as a civ, I guess Centerpoint can be defined as a wonder. KotOR2 Mass Shadow Generator is bit at odds with interdictor generator tech IMO.

A national wonder: "The Great Shipyard", like the one at Fondor or Kuat. Bonus to capital ship production.

Alderaan is a good source of culture type wonders if you check Ralph McQuarrie's concept art. For example:
University of Alderaan
Crevasse City and other underground, landscape preserving cities.
Grass paintings

You can just go with Naboo too, though.

Cloud City, Echo Base, Massassi Temples, Hand of Thrawn (same effect as Pentagon, maybe)

Coruscant:
Monument Plaza, where visitors can actually touch the actual surface of the planet, a mountaintop. A wonder for symbolising a completely built over city.
Imperial Palace, Senate, Jedi Temple... already mentioned, I think.
Skydome Botanical Gardens
Galactic Museum
 
if u need any more help... i offer my sevices..... only i do this because i cant figure out how to get my sdk into a dll.... so now i give up and offer to help with teh xml....
 
how are u handeling jedi.... like FfH's Spellcasters?... that would be interesting in its own..... sorry... i havent got the time to play ur mod to its fullest..... i gtg to work later.... so i have only about an hour to play... =\.... ok.... just keep me upto date with everything that has been done.... im also thinking about redoing the leader traits adn seeing if i can redo some of the pics so they dont look as bad.... im a very cosmetic person.... leave the "make that look good" stuff to me... :goodjob:
