Starcraft: The Story

The Sons of Korhal were attempting a huge blow to the Confederacy. However, those attempts were currently futile. In order to stop more people into joining the Sons of Korhal, the Confederates decided to use media manipulation and censorship as well as muffling the Korhalian actions. While Mengsk was at Umoja, he met Pollock Rimes. Pollock was a battlecruiser captain that crashed his ship on Umoja, but was able to evade Confederate radio transmittions. Rimes had suffered his hair was lost, most of his left ear lost, scarred skin, a broken nose, and an injery to the left side of his skull. Mengsk bribed him and his crew. Pollock was named a Lieutenant. They witnessed the 12 battlecruiser nuking of Korhal. Somo Hung, one of the crew members, was the main decision to create the Sons of Korhal. The crashed battlecruiser was called the Hyperion. Lt. Sela Brock, pilot of the Hyperion and a wraith pilot was one of the recruits. Sgnt. Forest Keel is a siege tank user. On Umoja, all-together there were 46 recruits. Mengsk wanted to retrieve something from Vyctor 5, a planet in the galaxy. He wanted the Fujita Facility, a science facility created before the Guild Wars. The facility sits inside basically in the eye of a stationary hurricane. Also, four missle turrents surround the facility. In the subway system, there were more guards here than the HQ in Tarsonis! Theefore, no air or land assault could work. However, Umoja, now an ally of Mengsk, had a humongous intell agency. They fed information to the Sons of Korhal. A cruise trip was supposed to happen, but it was cancelled at the last minute because a Confederate Mammoth class carrier was passing through. Mengsk's battlecruiser looks like a cruise ship at a distance, so he decided to cancel the cancellation and replace it with the battlecruiser. However, the battlecruiser would pass the carrier and it had to be done before the Confeds saw through this trick. This was the plan.

Mengsk: Rimes, you, Hung, and Keel with be fitted into a siege tank and dropped onto the ground.
Rimes: But what about the weather?
Scientist: I've taken care of that. My prototype...
Hung: Prototype?
Scientist: ...gravity generator....
Hung: Generator?
Scientist: God will you shut the hell up and let me finish? I mean, does he ever stop talking?
Keel: Not often. Several times, I've wanted to kill him.
Scientist:.....will let you stay on the ground without being blown away. You will have slow speed though. Hopefully, the tank's armor will withstand the winds.
Mengsk: Thank you. Now, the tank will drive 1 mile to reack the installation. You will destroy the turrents to allow Sela Block's wraith and several troop-filled dropships to fly down and retrieve whatever's in that base.
Rimes: :confused:
Everyone: :rolleyes:
 
umm since starships are expensive wouldnt it make sense to send voluntee colonist instead of criminals ?

I suck with terrans to slow maybe you could show me how sometime there the only race I can't play fastest with.
 
The tank was rustling in the dropship, and the people inside were getting sick.
Rimes: Argh..... *barfs* Why can't this bucket get down faster?
Soldier: Because, the god dam atmosphere is too windy.
Keel: How the hell did they get a science facility here anyway?
Second: Nobody knows. I think the original creators died, probably drifted away.
Rimes: Maybe Confederates killed them.
Keel: Well, let's focus on the god dam mission!
Pilot: We're landing in 5 minutes. Please dispose of your barf bags and keep your seat belts on.
Second: Finally. *barfs*

The tank went rolling against winds about 170 miles an hour.
Second: Holy ****! The thingy majigy gravity thing is acually working!
Rimes: Whew!
Keel: We're nearing the facility.
Soldier: Finally!

The tank however came to a full stop, 20 yards from the intended siege area.

Keel: Oh crap.
Second: What?
Keel: The engine blew!
Rimes: God damit!
Soldier: That's why I hate siege tanks, they're mechanical.
Keel: At least we can siege here, though we are a little off target.

They sieged and quickly blew 3 turrents.

Soldier: Why can't we kill the last one?
Keel: Because, we're outta range.
Second: Fauk.
Keel: Don't worry, we can disable it with these shock guns.
Second: It's not that....
Keel: Then what is it?
Second: Look at the computer and out the window.
Keel: ****.

The tank was now in tank mode, and the engine blown. Also, 25 Confederate Marines had gone out, led by Sgt. Mitch Tanner.

Keel: Out! Everybody out! I'm the only one staying.

Rimes was handing rifles to everyone.

Hung: God. I'm not taking that. I'll stay the rest of my life in here if I have to.
Rimes: Listen, if the Confederates shoot that missle in the tank, the rest of your life wil be 30 seconds, so just shut the hell up and take it.
Hung: Fine.

Brock, the Wraith pilot, was running out of time. There was a transmittion from Mengsk.

Mengsk: Brock, the Carrier and a battlecruiser have arrived. Take out the last turrent with your fleet of Wraiths. I think your ship will survive this.
Brock: Will do sir.

Ending Transmittion. :sad:
