((OOC: The reason the Pope has his position is because of something called the Petrian doctrine, which states that the Pope is a direct reincarnation of the mind of Saint Peter on Earth, because of this, a Pope can only apologize and send aid to people that another Pope has attacked. For a Pope to say that they were not of the same mind as a previous Pope, however, is the same as an admission of being a charlatan.
Additionally, if the French Archdiocese elects a new pope, he will be a Pope, France has done it several times before, and there were a couple times when as many as three people claimed to be Pope.

well, in chrsitian dogma, any damnation isnt eternal; supposedlly on judgment day all will raise and bow, and be judged and what not, or somthign along those lines, though regardless, my exact thoughts ont he incopnsistencies of the chrsitian fiath would likelly get evolved into a flame war, hence I wont bother to say them in this thread (lets just say, I consoider nay god who would judge people more on htier faith in him.her , as opposed ot hwo they have lived thie rlife, for the bette rment of others, or for selfish purposes would be invaribale crule and egotisticle, somthing I personally shudder to think would be connected with a god whom would have been responisble for all around us, good and bad)

True, Mr. Pope, but if God did indeed Create us then who are we to call the actions that we take during 'our' lives our own? Who are we to take credit for merely doing as we were designed to do and loving our neighbors as ouorselves? That's dandy, but that's not something bonus that we can do for extra credit, that's what we ought to be doing, what we were designed to do. Besides any 'work' that we accomplish, be it good or bad, is meaningless next to the perfection that is The Almighty. The archbishop briefly touched on the international situation (OOC we are not like USSR ) and moved over to religious issues. He expressed that misunderstandings in Catholic Church will be overcome. The Catholic Christian Church cannot afford be split in two. Especially in such important times. Times of friendship between religions and common peoples. Humans want to be able to practice their religion without persecution. However not everywhere in the world it is possible. In the Turkish Empire an Empire of different religions people cannot freely practice their religion. In Turkey Christians cannot build houses higher of those of Muslims. Shia Muslims are being pushed from their land. Orthodox Christian Churches are closing. Arab Muslims are opressed by their fellow faith nation the Turcs! From its experience Protugal as a Kingdom knows that religions can coexist if government doesn't persecute the "wrong faith".
