Just to clarify, I'll be doing a semi-update tonight with no orders. It isn't any disadvantage to you if you haven't created a nation by the time that update occurs; I'll just add you in for the next one. The Thursday update will require orders.

I said explicitly no Scandinavian starts in the rules, Grandmaster. Sorry. Again, I didn't create a "civilized zones" map because I think that you all know what the civilized zones are by now not because there are no limits to where you can start.

Cui, is my start ok? Its a little out of the main "civilized zones" but the civilization was actually there...so....

You're on the very edge of acceptable. They were there, after all. The Scythians were only somewhat a steppe tribe; when I say steppe tribe I mean the Avars or the Huns or the Xiong-nu.

Stormie is out to get everyone, not just you Kal. And good to hear Cui, I don't expect any huge cities or anything like that for some time

Sorry, I must have missed that in the rules. I'll have to read them again, and think of somebody else. Until then, consider me locked into playing, but without a nation yet.

I just noticed that people have been fiddling with their troop/ship stats. You either have 20 hundreds and 10 ships or 30 hundreds and no ships. There are no other options at the beginning.
