Bug report: Kaiserjäger's files are wrong, they are like Kaiserj,,gerattack.flc (,, is one mark, I couldn't do it)

Also when are you going to release a fixed patch of beta3 (techtree for industrial age)

Oh, I was wondering. have you planned to include the following?

1. The Blimp.
2. The Balloon.
3. The Engineer worker that can settle, and do all the work of a worker.
4. Humvee.
5. Jeep.
6. Bradley tank that is both a tank and a transport.
7. Penguine anti ship missle.
8. Settler wagon.

Just thought I ask, I think those are some of the ones I like to use that are custom made from other CFC members.

6. No mechanized infantry = infantry + APC, symbolized at civ scale by the Bradley (for America). Consider my bradley do transport infantry (hence the speed), but fighting is done by infantry AND bradley (but you see only the animation of the latest).
7. Probably, as a unit than kill destroy ships.

Remember it's still beta, changes can still happen when I test the game, when a new nice animation is released, or after conquest with new abilities.

About humvee, jeep and bradley : units no not represent a single real life unit, but a regiment / brigade / division. So I will not detail everything. That's why I will not try to give exact caracteristics, and make Abrams better only because Abrams have stronger armor, but also nbecause American armor tactics / training is superior.

How many fan-created units have you already got in this mod?

I currently have 490 units in the civilopedia, and 356 folders in the art/unit folder.

So it means 356 fan-created units (82 among them are converted from American Conquest and Cossacks), and 134 vanilla units.

I still have modern aicraft and ships to add, and then units from Conquests, some more convertion from Cossacks and Call to Power.

Then I'll add some future units, so total should be around 700 I guess.

But it may even be more, as I find it very difficult to resist adding a new unit when nice animation are released... Like the mongols horse archer for the GOTM.

Uhm- one small question- how/where do you upload such quantities- I am only asking since I'd also want to post some est. 600mb in a few weeks... and I don't have a clue how to :(
 
I C- hmmm- I'll wait until after the release of conquests- this will probably save some space (if leaderheads and the like are included like in PTW)... even then the mod should be between 400 and 500 mb :(

Will use the time until I have Conquests in-hand to "clean" the unit folders a bit (i.e. units with the same wave files need to be kicked)...

If I can further reduce the file size (and use winzip et al.) I might B able to post it to TF in the end :)... otherwise I may just burn it & send it of to him in one go (if he agrees, of course).

Definitly- it's huge!!! If I were you I'd wait until akula's, Hunter's, Wyrmshadow's, etc units are out to complement the "couple" ;) that R out so far.
 
Apparently, there are some difficulties to convert PTW mod into C3C. So I've put this mod on hold until I have C3C (I hope in a week or two).
I will then rewokr everything with the new civs and new units.
Important note : I will probably not add all the new civs in my mod.
For instance, I may use a "Mesopotamia" civ, included both Hittites, Sumerian, Babylonian.
Byzantine will probably be an "evolution" of Greece.
Incas should be in, but not the mayas (mixed with Aztec as Mesoamericans?)
I think I will add Austria and Poland, keep Portugal, but perhaps not Dutch.
 
You shouldn´t mix Hittites with Sumeria, rather Ottomans/Turks. Mayas is just as worthy as being in, as the Inca. Also if you skip them, you will have only 3 american civs!
