No I do not have orders from you. Here's the deal then. I will update as much as I can the final deadline being Thursday evening. If you don't submit orders until then - tough luck. I did want to finish the update earlier, but I need to sleep, eat and drink apparently as much as other people do. Update in 24 hours if you want it good and planned....if you don't you still wait

NCR
New Californian Republic (NCR) attacked bases of Brotherhood of Steel. With the death of Tandy 15 years ago the future of NCR was uncertain. It seems as though a 15 year long battle between extremists and pacifists was won by the former ones and NCR is now actively on a course of military expansion. The Brotherhood was the only organization that limited that expansion. Or could it be that it did not pose a security threat, but posed as an unguarded treasury of old technologies? In any case one time a Brotherhood operator found over 50 men with guns approach the local office in Shady Sands. The new government was not friendly to NCR, but no-one could expect what happened. Without warning the head person shot the Operating whose head blew of the body and flew into the building. Immediately after 50 men rushed into the building. A second operative just managed to take out his gun when he died. However the third was not caught off guard. He managed to defend himself for about 4 minutes killing 4 attackers and injuring twice as much. However he was taken down and the base was conquered. NCR was surprised to learn that it contained very little technology as was more of an office and intelligence gathering unit rather than a military base. 4 Power Armours were found along with some pre-war weaponry. NCR analysts were quickly all over the base studying alloys and equipment found. Analysis will come later.
Second group dispatched to pillage another Brotherhood base in NCR territory found themselves in a more difficult situation. As soon as the group approached the base they began to wonder if they are in the right place. The place was heavily fortified and occasionally a power armour soldier appeared rushing from building to building. The group commander decided to follow the diplomatic path. Having positioned his men he came up the gates and asked for a negotiator. He then asked the whole base to be turned over to NCR and Brotherhood men to join the Californian military. Brotherhood captain smiled, but looked into the eyes of NCR commander. He was serious. Moments passed without an answer. Suddenly the enemy commander started to move back. In the next moment he ducked and a blast destroyed the Brotherhood gate with the captain and a few surrounding soldiers. NCR men opened fire on one of the most fortified bases in the post-nuclear world. It was not long before laser towers and defenders appeared on the base walls and returned fire. Even with a surprise factor on their side NCR chances were next to nothing. Over 30 men died from the side of NCR, half of survivors were wounded. Only 8 made it back home.
Following these events the Brotherhood declared limited war against the new regime of NCR. Brotherhood personnel was told to refrain from operating in the areas under control of NCR, recruitment started. The Brotherhood has awaken.
NCR made it compulsory to attend the schools. While it is a nice measure on paper very few actually do attend it with most convinced it is a waste of time. Further results will follow.
NCR advancement South was only partially successful. Citizens of a small town of Sandy Hills were thrilled and enthusiastic about joining such a big state as NCR. NCR got 400 more citizens, mostly humans. The town began to flourish with the new goods arriving from NCR. However citizens of Boneyard aka new Los Angeles refused. An expedition was sent to LA to try and convert them by force. The expedition was rebuffed by the local citizens that outnumbered the invading force by 5 to 1. Locals lost about 100 men and NCR around 20. The commander decided its best to fall back and return more prepared. Perhaps and intelligence mission into the city would work better?
Another expedition returned home saying that the map is outdated and directions are invalid.

San Frano
San Frano is enjoying a steady life. Moderate development of research potential (schools), industry and army is going as planned. Things are quiet in San Frano actually. Habologists contacted the Emperor to allow them to re-establish a base there.
New Reno
The Wright Family took on New Reno like a housemaid takes on a house that was no ever cleaned.
Golden Globe Studio was turned into a film-making studio. This one act attracted many people into New Reno wishing to see new movies. Film production and distribution is still an issue, but it seems all over California people are enjoying this film business.
Drug possession and trade, prostitution and slavery are outlawed in New Reno. This came as a huge blow to the economy and caused some people to leave the city. However if adequate measures are taken this was a right thing to do to ensure that the city is cleared of sin. The Wright family however rented the now empty casinos. Of course they were looted and were out of business for about 20 year (what do you expect they will be intact? ). However the new owners managed to bring them up to 20 years ago standards. This operation gained New Reno some of its citizens back and quite a bit of hard currency.
Wright Family did sent out a couple of expeditions to the outside world, but they only told their father of their foundings. New Reno was also trying to gain reputation as a farming town, but it failed. The important thing is that through a year of reforms New Reno is turning into a well functioning city with its own political agenda. How will this affect the balance of power?

SCLP enhanced their influence North the Peninsula. Apparently a big raid on Southern Mexican city corresponded with the Mexicans wanting to take a stand against Pirates. Superior numbers and tactics won against patriotic bravery. The town of 700 people was pillaged and burned.

INVICTUS emerged as the dominant power in Colorado region and beyond. 170 years of effective isolation are over. INVICTUS began actively infiltrating the landscape and spreading its influence.
Reports 2257-07-12-RO-456-647 and 2257-25-12-RO-456-869 on executive orders 1437 and 1438 respectively suggest that the measures taken are adequate and very effective. RO suggest similar measures should be taken against local populations together with educational programs. It was noted that those citizens originating not from bases can bring the general education level down if the problem is not addressed.

Project initiated according to plan. <long detail of resource allocation and scientists involved> Initial targets will be met with 90% probability as soon as the funding is allocated. Simple designs are the primary objective atm. Recommend dispatching a few scout groups to salvage designs which should cut the project costs in half.
FRUs became very effective units sufficiently mobile, armed and supplied to carry out the tasks assigned to them. So far no serious military threat was encountered. However one FRU returned from its mission claiming that it found a big camp of armed men who were terrorising the local population. The group is rumoured to be around 200 men and armed with a few pre-war weapons as well as many modern guns. Another FRU has returned with a rumour of huge humanoid green beasts roaming the remains of one military base. Other expeditions did help INVICTUS create a database of still surviving pre-war objects and salvage some material from them. The challenge will be dealing with a newly encountered state of Free Utah.
Florida republic
National Service introduced which already got some recruits. Additional army reform is needed to completely re-organize the structure. Crop rotation knowledge was not totally lost in the War. Once the decision was taken materials were found and various techniques were implemented. This increased the output and will eventually reflect on population.
Money reform was implemented and advanced pre-war like financial system is being created. While introducing some problems were encountered (-1eco point), but soon the situation stabilized. However the government now became more vulnerable if fake money is printed it could bring the economy down.
Necropolis
Was rebuilt. It is functioning and more and more ghouls come there, mostly for new experience.
One of the ghouls named Set thought up of remembering ceremonies. He thought that if ghouls are prewar citizens how come they cannot rebuild the life like it was before? Unlike other ghouls Set was energetic and he quickly collected a group around him who meditated trying to remember the world Before and record it.

We were told that the military bases were abandoned.Due to the lack of communication we were unable to stop our military and the commanding officer was responsible for this was relieved of duty.We are willing to pay 2 eco for the damages done by our military.We think this a most reasonable offer for an old outdated practicly abandoned intelligence base.
We will also allow you to setup an official Brotherhood building in our biggest city as an apology for this incident.
OOC:Colors in the stats would be really good as I dont know anyone except Arroyo?What blob is this 'Utah'?

Devon Street was once the symbol of Chicago's diversity. In fact, there was one block on Devon that had a good ol' American music school, a Chinese restaurant, an Arabic jewlery store, a Pakistani book store, a Jewish bookstore, a Mexican accountant, an Indian restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a Russian grocery store, a Polish orthopedic supply store, and a store front Baptist church (OOC- this block of Devon is real, I live really close to it). Devon was still a multicultural have even it had lost alot of it old glory. But, King Daley had a plan. He would revitalize Devon Street and make it the new center for the new Chicago.
