stJNES: Low Tide

I pyramid shaped like a Pentagram rather than a square from above

*shudders*

Is that even possible?

why not? just another big wall. It's a lot of stone and nothing more anyway :p

Paroh mEhmet stood in front of his architectural wonder. The workers worked day and night on his tomb. The greatest of them all. If before all Paros were tombed within Mastabas he will be buried under the first Pentarmid. (I pyramid shaped like a Pentagram rather than a square from above).

The grand building would be the largest in all of his kingdom, and even than Saxonias buildings. A tomb worthy of a king.

After his death his children and dynasty, the Kuji dynasty continued to produce greater and more sophisticated Pentarmids. They were truly wonders of the world.

ooc: that sucked. Anyway when is update?
Are you the upper Egyptian nation?

*shudders*

Is that even possible?
Possible, yes, but not as practical or beautiful.

Thanks :)

orders once I know when is updated. Than right away I'll send them...

Location: Little north of Korean Peninsula

Trying to copy DreadNes or has it influenced it?

Hisa Haisan
Capitol : Hisa Hayla
King : Kakura Khan
Slightly north on the lake with the river heading northwards in russia.
Army/Navy : 6000 Horde members, although they start at age 21 and run in cycles of 1 months (or an average of less than 500 patrolers) and only if they don't have a trade or if they can payup for a mecenery (Only rich can afford it and it lasts 5 years)
Government : Imparialistic Monarcy
Economy : Stable, but a noticable should be fueled by raiding and trading off the items to friendly towns.

Discription : In the Stepees of North Eurasia, Nomanic peoples waged war accoeding to acient and unwritten laws. And a beated tibe ofted found sightly less furtle and more dangerous region to regains their skills and to reconquer lost ground. Many prevailing Tribes fought for the lands of Manchuia, (western) China, Mongolia and the Balikas (the great lake balaka and other similar lakes in siberia.

A few towns where soon knowticed as a center of successtion of "dynansties" of attaking or defending tribes. Soon, they, including Karakourm, Hisa Hayla, Blaka and others are noted for there growing number of artistain that don't usually rebel against a ruler and only want trade and demand for thier goods.

And also noticeable, are seperate "casles" of surroundng land to protect instead of a fortress town, as the rulars don't want a devastated town to try to feed and care the the wouded warriors, which includes all men from 20-42 unless they have a usfull trade, like capentry (Sheild bases) Leather working and blacksmiths.

Eventually, a tribe attacked Hisa Hayla (or more correctly, the Tower and it's fortress) .Howeverm they are different as they no just provided the rule of their leader but eventually also a drafting system and writing to recorde them, the trappings of civiliation, even of a bararic sort.

But the draft breed idolism to the leader, and when they are nearly distroyed by another tribe called Jashino, a young luitenent of 20 (Under draft age of 25) lead the townsmen and attacked the besighers and routed them. And although they are peaceful, they have a permanant cycle of patrol (With the best leaders in charge for most of the year)for men of over 20 unless they have a trade or head of a extended, and low labor family.

Soon, neighboring tribes where peacfuly or aggresivly taken. And the original town of jashino and burned it. It is a true naton that rose out of ashes.

I am still awaiting responses to my diplomacy to the Choson and Nancho Post (92)

@flyingchicken

I forgot to change the names. First Emperor has been replaced by his son the Second Emperor (Er Shi)

Thank you for these wonderful gifts. We found the books particularly interesting. Most of our knowledge is still passed verbally to each generation. The Zu people are truly friends of China. It is my sincerest hope that our people remain friends for eternity.

Decree of Military Preparedness from Er Shi

Although we not currently threatened by enemies, I anticipate that jealously of lesser people may soon lead them to attack us. We need to be prepared. Therefore, all boys reaching the age of 16 are required to participate in two years military training. This training is to be during the winter. All boys are to be tested on their military skills. Boys showing intelligence or leadership skill will participate in additional leadership (officer) training. Those boys showing exception horsemanship will receive additional training as Calvary troops. All men are required to report for military duty as called upon during time of war.

Beginning immediately all major towns should began the construction of a central fortification made of stone. They should be big enough to hold most of the immediate local population. All local farmers are required to provide a small allotment of their produce to this garrison. During time of war, local people will seek refuge in these buildings. The men will be required to defend the garrison. Larger cities such as Xianyang will begin the construction of outer walls and towers. They will be defended by a conscripted army.

We wish for the Mekong River to be seen as the formal boundry between our nations for now, and for us to form a trade pact.

We are not sure what you want, exactly. I am certain that some of our more daring merchants are riding the seas to do trade with your people. However, the Dominion does not meddle with the goods changing hands within its borders, except during times of need and through simple taxes.

If you were to explain, I might consider a so-called "trade pact."
_____

ooc: Currently, with a limited currency system (unified and organized currency I plan for my country later) and a simple citizens-only taxes. In the Zu Dominion, tariffs do not exist yet (I don't believe they would until much later periods of organization) and the economy is decentralized (a free market). Only when problems arise would the government put its hand in market affairs (with rules and regulations or command-economy-style directives).

This brings up a question of some importance for our mod, Jason the King: What would a trade pact do in this early a time period? (This part should be in a PM, but oh well) Were my assumptions on my economy, based on the little reading I've done on early economies, correct?

EDIT: Tariffs did exist "since ancient times" (very vague) according to this, so maybe a sort of tariff will be established at some later time when the government is no longer bothered and secure in its position with the defense and security of the Dominion.

We are pleased that trade networks have been establish trade with your nation. Shi Huangdi invites you to send some of your scholars to Xianyang so that we may learn more about characteristics of your culture. We also ask that you open your lands to Taoist missionaries. I have sent this chest of precious stones as a sign of his goodwill.

We wish to establish trade networks with your nation. We understand your culture is militaristic. We hope you will see the wisdom with existing peacefully with China. To Emperor of Chinese people
From Choson

While we accept an open borders invitation for trade and cultural exchangement, we ask that you do not send Taoist missionaries into our lands. We will not be slaves to foreign influence.

To Emperor of Chinese People
From Nanchao

Taoist missionaries will be persecuted the moment they cross the borders into our land. The same goes for any other person bringing outside influence into the Nanchao realm. We will accept trade, but your merchants will be supervised and subject to our rules and customs.
