Florida continues its island hopping the Caribbean, but encountering harsh resistance on an island called Cuba. The native Cubans have also a large supply of copper and they use it, tipped on spears, and is giving huge resistance.
Huge copper mine found of Sri Lanka by the Sinhalis! This is though to be the largest storehouse of copper in the world so far, and the navy is immediately upgraded for free by the surplus of it.
Sunni Muslims continue to try to overthrow Alis rule over the Arab Confederation, with huge mobs storming the capital, and being killed by the Royal Guards. The economy is going down the hole from continuing supplying the troops, and from lack of trade.

Chinese forces halt the Choson expansion into Manchuria. The swift Chinese archers are more then a match for the Choson and Korean forces, easily keeping them at bay. However, the Chosons have discovered the use of copper, but lack a viable source. Some have been reported to exist just beyond the Chinese lines.
Spain on the brink of civil war! If it wasnt for the huge army left at home, the rebels would have certainly overthrew the government. Thousands lay dead in Portuguese streets, and Basque villages continue to rise up in bloody revolts. Economy dips due to lack of motivation on farms. However, the southern border is constantly threatened by Uzbeks, who the Kazakhs have recently launched a huge offensive against. Taking heavy damage, the Kazakh generals ordered a retreat to the homeland.
