This was a general speech. As new invasions begun...

In Portugal a law passed that Portugal will NOT be called an empire and it is forbbiden to say Portugal and Empire in the same line in Portugal. "We shall not be an evil Empire! [OOC]:Yet [/OOC]"

Because of the new law that general was executed... But his speech (with the word Empire deleted) was released in papers to the soldeirs to read on their way to war.

Yah, rough week. I've been getting home at 7:30 or later each day, my game is lasting much longer then expected, and when I get home I got to do dishes (sigh, my chore), homework, and eat dinner, leaving hardly any time for NES.

Sorry. What started out as the quickest turn in this NES's history might turn out to be one of the longest. All I ask is that you do not spam, if it must let the thread drift down. Do not feel the need to keep posting.

I am glad that you are interested in our religion. How did it happen to spread to your part of the world? I do no believe aqny missionaries left from Mighty Syria.

Syria is a country marred in tradition, and most likely the people would not be happy breaking away from the Pope. Then again, Portugal did take the Pope away from us, so we have reason to be angered at them. (religously, of course...Portugal's a good nation)

We must decide whether to go with tradition, as our noble and ancient people have always done, or split with the Roman Catholic church. (Christianity never spread to Rome in this NES, so what would the religion be called? )

OOC: I'm a Roman Catholic in real-life, so that may affect my descision.

To: Syria- actually, the Pope was taken from Rome, as that is where he sprung up in the first place- technically, based on that, I suppose you could call it Roman catholoscism, but Rome dosent really support it in general, but might, considering it would be a nice little kick to the portugese to have a high ranking Roman in thier midst, even if its not nearlly the majorities religion, and isnt going to be...
