stJNES9 - Changing Times

Thrang looked over at the Amazonian perched next to him, Hilp was a Gang, one of the northern Amazonian tribes, one which had elected to ally with the Dominion, one of Thrang’s axes sat in his hand.

The Trikk generals had worked hard to develop different strategies across the different battlefields, one would see few of the prized Llama charioteers here in the rainforests of the Amazonian battlefields, the axes were different too, the Northern Axes were distinctly larger, as the Northern Armies rushed their opponents to meet them on the battlefields, fighting was hand to hand against the northern barbarians and the generals who trained in Hrall prized the Llama charioteers for their ability to shatter the lines of the barbarian troops. To the contrary Thrang had always been told not to rush forward away from the cover of the trees, the Amazonian archers hid with poisoned arrows out there and it was far better to simply throw smaller axes to clear some of the opposition first, and even if it hadn’t been the larger northern axes wouldn’t have been much use with the limited space to swing that the rainforest provided. The differences weren’t enough to separate the two, they were both certainly Trikk Warriors, but the Trikk understood that there was no universal strategy.

Hilp nodded, pulling back his own bow and letting the poison death pierce the flesh of a rival tribes’ warrior who would never learn the folly that was the charge in the Amazonian forests.

Javelins stung tree trunks and the battle began.

-

For the love of the Dominion many a man had died. She was a tempting mistress, promising every immortality. Who dared say that the Duke Hryle, he whose name was whispered solemnly by every charioteer, had not exceeded mortality? The Dominion rewarded those who served her well.

The soldiers stood in their rows, noone could accuse the Trikk army of lacking organization, their axes hung behind their backs, the base metals catching what sun they could, the charioteers pet their Llamas, standing besides them. The days had come for battle to be brought again to the North, the latest winner of the woodworking festival had dreams so grandiose as Hryle’s, and he hoped to add as greatly to his majesty’s Empire.

For the love of the Dominion many a solemn foot was placed upon the ground to march for conquest.

Orders

Begin slightly steeper taxes towards the center of the Empire to encourage expansion outwards and to increase tax funding. The taxes will be only slightly higher, not by any means excessive or even unfair. (just an eeensy weensy bit)

500 Charioteers are to be added to the Northern Army to assist in expansions.

3000 Warriors are to be devoted to expanding northwards.

3000 Warriors are to fight wars with our Amazonian Allies to expand Trikk influence in the Amazon.

1000 Warriors are to work on building a road between Trii and Hrall.

To Tohuku
From Chubu

Surrender to me, and take the first step in the direction of a united Japan. Give you lands to Chubu in the name of the new Emperor, the Lord of Yamato.

PS: This is to an NPC, just a heads up. :D

To the Tohuku
From the Yamato

We are allies to the Chubu, and unless you want us to get invovled, I would suggest surrendering. No honor is lost, for after all, you are entering the service of one blessed by the Gods. Surrender, or be thrice damned.

To Tohuku
From Chubu

Would it not be better to retain relative autonomy under Chubu with a surrender than to have Tohuku citizens enslaved? To recieve less rights? To face the emperor himself rather than just one of his daimyos?

Entira
As time passed scienticts found ways to manipulate stone. At the first time in Entiran history stone houses were build after the wooden ones were destoried and as soon as the rich zones of the city were replaced a new stone wall was built 2km away from the ancient wooden walls that were still beeing fixed as writing were writen on them to record history of the Entirans from befor the immigration to Entira so that all will never forget their enemies from birth, the Babylonians and Assyrians wich after hundreds of year that have passed they already almost forgot about.

In Entira a new writing was developed for the Entiran culture and Entirakad lanuage was used. It's sounds and words ressembeled thos of the hebrew languages of the Hebrews people that were also hunted by the Baylonians and Assyrians ones... They took the words but the writing was totaly diffrent. Soon after the reliece of the new writing and lanuages it caughed up quickly and soon stone "papers" were created with the laws of Entira and it's religion...

Mamleket Ha Elim
From hebrew - The Gods Kingdom
Mamleket-Kingdoms
Ha-The
Elim-Gods

The Entiran religion is based on 2 Father and 2 Mother gods and all their sons and doughters plus the being of chaos.
In this writings we shall explain to you of the religion level after level. Each level is not only words it is also a level of spirit grouth (Shlav) to the Entirians. Ususaly regular farmers try to reach higher Slavim (levels) by learning the next level. For the Entirans learning the next Shlav means being an higher level of a human being while knowing all of the levels take you to an higher spirit world, regular people are not allowed to learn the last Shlavim from the risk they will connect with the Chaos, while ones who deticate their lives to priesthood reach the last level and ususaly connect with one of the 4 kings of the skies.

The religion is highy based on Magic and priests are well known as great wizards and Gods-connectors.

The Shlavim are:
1) The four elite gods:
+Elolim- God of the Skies
+Tele- God of Earth
+Aqwa- Goddess of Water
+Lahava- Goddes of Fire
2) The Chaos elites:
+Drake- God of Evilness
+Azazel- God of the underworld
+Met- God of the deatds
3) The six great gods:
+Barak- God of Electricity
+Hetz- God of plants
+Hoshech- God of night
+Barzala- Goddes of the Metals
+Holit- Goddes of sand
+Or- Goddes of day
4) The minor gods:
+Milhama- God of War
+Hom- God of heat
+Kor- God of colderness
+Boneh- God of builders
+Homa- God of walls
+Okian- God of the seas
+Haya- Goddes of animals
+Sfina- Goddes of ships
+Harsina- Goddes of pottey
+Ruah- Goddes of wind
+Kerah- Goddes of ice
+Shalolim- Goddes of peace
5) The tiny gods

This list is far from full. Almost every ston on the land and every cloud has it's own tiny god and there are still vast numbers of Minor gods.

In the next times more levels of Mamleket Ha Helim will be explained. This was the first level, knowing as many gods as you can by heart.

ORDERS
Bank the economy.
Use navy to go across the Adriatic and make tiny trade-port posts all across the adriatic (from north near our city to greece and naples) and make a trade-port post on Sicily and try to make soem more on Greece and Crete.

ORDERS:

- Spend tax revenue creating a fleet of serpent galleys to roam the seas. (special unit) These galleys are long and are designed to look like serpents. (Basically they look like Early Greek Biremes, although the front of these ships are carved intricately to look like sea serpents from Mayan art. Their wood is colored Turquoise primarily with red, and gold trimming, they carry large crews and are meant for travel in the carribean region...)

- Send these Serpent galleys in honor of the gods northwards, onto the rumored islands that our priests tell us about. (Cuba, carribean, etc.)

- Begin cutting down Rainforest around Palenque to allow for additional settlement.

- Slightly increase taxes by a SMALL amount.

- Begin devising a system of canals, do not construct anything substantial, but plan canals to link future settlements. This will allow easy and quick travel, as well as provide irrigation benefits. (Mayans may have wheel, but we do not have horses or llamas.)

- Introduce coinage. Coins will be made out of plentiful gold and other minerals. Farmers will still pay a tax in crops though, so that the food will be distributed across the land. All others will use coinage for taxes. Palenque is trading crafts made by people for coins, and people are getting paid in coins. Prices will now be set in coins from now on.
