stJNESII: And We Start Again

*ahem* when exactly did you beat me?

That one time with Venice.

Simple diplomatic mistake.

Actually, *I* was the one who made the diplomatic mistake by accidentally leaking my plans to Russia (well, not really accidentally, I thought the Great Game was still on).

But, as Jason said, we should stop with the spam until we begin with the waiting for the update

well, it shoudl be mentined that A)I was betrayed by everyone I had set to make an alliance with, and B)I quit without a fight after the first turn ;)

Spoiler spam :
It should also be mentioned that Tripolye, though mangled and badly shaken, survived in some form until the NES died, which is more then what could be said for Venice. ;)

Jason, what will the beginning year for IT I be?

only because

A)the NES ended the turn after your ass was kicked
and B)because I didnt stay to fight as Venice

700 BCE, that's pretty late for a freshstart. Oh well, that just means I will have a more developed Arab empire ready to kill all of the pansy 'civilized' people who stand in my way. If you are going to start that late, then there should deffinately be some civilization in Yemem, southern India, the Atlantic coast of Morroco, Ehtiopia, and the Andes.

Alesia is located at the very frontier of civilization, just south of the Seine River in Gaul. Warlike and merchantile in turns, the nation's preferences vary with its ruler. Gradually they have struck outwards, with a powerful army based on a medium army of warriors with much ferocity and an elite guard of good discipline. Their only real city is on the high hill of Alesia, where the King of the nation congregates his army in times of war, and where most of the trade of the fledgeling kingdom is conducted.

Funny, I would say that is a double post, except you have Ethiopia in the second one.

Anyways, the nes "starts" around 2200 bc, but the first IT begins around 700.

Can I start as Byzantium, normal location, some sort of red or purple, normal Greek polytheism, and foreign policy like the Chiss Ascendancy: relies on established trade routes, never attacks, and has a medium-sized, well-trained army and navy?

Starting right now I am NOT accepting anymore people to join until AFTER the BT update.

From last page, to North King and Dachspmg.

*sigh* The NES closes to new players in the time it takes me to think of a good nation? :(

until AFTER the BT north king

I CAN read, alex. Perhaps I'm not interested in having a nation start new and weak, did *that* occur to you?

That did occur, but your post told me otherwise said otherwise

No mention of having a nation start new and weak so you can lay off the thinly veiled insults...

Aw, carp. Didn't see it. Will start after BT, if there's still room in the world.

what about me? i put my nation up before the "cut off point" yet im not on the list, how depressing :(
