Hello people of Mataram!
We must unite under Bemi! The chains of poverty, segragation and conflict must be thrown off in order for our race of Matarams and Malyas to see the true light that we must stride towards. We must look into the future, what is best for us? What is best for our children? What is best for our gods and our nation? Division and ethnic strife will lead only to blood and war. What is the division between us? We are both made of flesh and bone, we both were made as the true and free people by Bemi. We mustn’t break all the progress our Gods have done to make us have freedom, liberty, plenty and peace. It is WE who must overcome and it is WE must unite! The treat isn't among each other, it is the hatred that is brewing in many of you. Rid yourself of it! WE must stand together as the only free civilized people in the world which is full of hate and evil.

Other might pay you lip service jason, but I'll be honest with you; I'm not impressed, and its far from your greatest work; I dont mean to discourage you, but for the love of anything and everything, dont contiue this thing uinless you WILL be able to make a commitment to it.
I'm also not thrilled about being invaded on turn 1, with all of souther Italy under heel of all people, the ever weak carthaginians, but I blame that more on contemopt being an ******* then anything else.

Mataram, Massive Celebrations
The people of Mataram are quite peaceful, most leave uneventful lives. However once every 4 years they through a massive celebration in honor of Caltami, the universe creator. The people create a massive sculpture in the shape of a giant cow head. They have done this so many times that a massive line of cow heads almost surrounds the 5 square mile festival area. Food is brought in and it is a massive party through 2 weeks.
Today the Religious Leader of Mataram, Talli Person, has announced this event and has also declared that the new republic system shall be unveiled.
Also the new temple plan shall be reveled , called “The United Bemi/Caltami Temple”, it will be the largest building ever constructed. It will be over 500 feet tall.
Here is a picture of what the finished project may look like.
The 4 large front pillars will be the largest stones every mined, each over 500 feet tall. 2 of them are plated with gold, over 200 pounds of gold will be used.

Actually, Chinese civilization started off later than other civilizations throughout the ancient world, but have been around for the longest as the others mostly died out. China actually lagged behind in the beginning, but its rapid population growth centered in small areas allowed china to leap forward. Jason's portrayal of Chinese civilizations in this NES is quite accurate thusfar.
