Persepolis News - January 7th
The USEA has completely fragmented into civil war!
Nationalists in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Siam have declared independence from the USEA. Many of the civilian men in each region have joined their national insurgent militias, in addition to ethnically-fraternal troops from the USEA army, into the new armies of the new states. The new governments of Saigon, Jakarta, and Bangkok are made up of coalitions of parties from the entire length of the political spectrum - including the small amount of communists and fascists - but dominated by the Pacifist Democrats.
Meanwhile, revolt and mutiny spread into northern India, engulfing Delhi completely. Insurgent forces and the masses have slaughtered the Seasian Military Council, decapitating the military regime.
Jerusalem Times - January 9th
The Persians have agreed to recognize the leftist governments of Arabia and Yemen. In exchange for the recognition, the Arabian government has permitted the Persian occupation of the northern border region, as a means of assuring the independence of Iraq and Kuwait.
Gibraltar National News - January 13th
Italians have bombed much of Madrid.
At sea, Marseilles has been bombarded extensively, almost completely destroying the Marseilles Trading Port.
Warsaw Reporter - January 20th
The French Army and the German "Red" Army has defeated most of the anti-communist forces during an attempted thrust through Switzerland into France by the "Whites".
Bishkek Times - January 30th
The people have risen! The Central Asian people have risen against the hated government. Most of the Tadzhiks and Kyrgyzians have joined the revolt against Russia. The Uzbeks of the north, however, are comfortable with the position of the country, and have refused to answer the call of the revolutionaries!
Half of the Central Asian army, long sympathizing with the underground anti-Russian parties, has joined the revolt.

The Government has fled Dushanbe, which has fallen to the Revolution! As our glorious comrades re-establish a sovereign government, the Uzbek traitors in Tashkent have begun to prepare their provincial capital to become the temporary capital of the Russian puppets.
Gibraltar National News - February 7th
Party campaigns have turned ugly when two youth paramilitary groups, one supporting the Communists and the other supporting the Fascists, engaged in a shoot-out in the middle of the capital. 6 innocent bystanders were killed in the street fight, 20 were injured. Several of the rivals were also killed, and the surviving leaders of the groups were immediately arrested.
For the past several months, both extremist parties have been engaged in a mud-slinging campaign, in addition to numerous outbreaks of violence. Two months after the declaration of independence, 20 Spaniards living in the Spanish Quarter of the capital were ruthlessly killed: the reason - suspicion of Spaniards as Communists; alleged culprits: a group of young Italian Fascists. In response, Communist groups burned alive 20 Italians living near the Spanish border, "on charges of treason and conspiracy with the Italian Government against Gibraltar".

Chinese troops have crossed into the USEA, expecting to be welcomed as liberators. Instead, the people have actively begun the fight against the Chinese, whom they regard as "a new USEA".
A Burmese Empire has been declared, its government a fascist dictatorship. Though the Burmese and the democrats of the rest of the former USEA are opposites in governing style, they have agreed to ally to fight the Chinese invaders if they refuse their request to withdraw.
Many Chinese troops have already lost their lives to the militiamen of the USEA's successor states.

Berlin has fallen to the Red Army! The Red thrust through Bavaria was only partially successful, but the combined forces from the west have defeated the loyalists. The Government has taken up residence in Munich, where the Bavarian Fascists have amassed an army of volunteers to fight the Reds.

The Reds have withdrawn peacefully from Denmark, putting the war-ravaged country back on the map of the world. German civilians who were sent to settle in Denmark have refused to leave, claiming that they have already begun lives there.

We will sign a treaty of friendship but we will not agree to Right-of-Passage. We've had enough foreign armies stampeding through our lands, extinguishing our sovereignty time and time again. We are not revolting against the Russian oppression to place China in power instead.
