President Thabo Mbeki
Born in 1873, Mbeki was a five-star general who ahd served in the First World War. It was he who had led the charge towards the USEA's African holdings from the Cameroon colony. It was he who had been been credited with the destruction of the USEA's iron grip on Africa.
The President arrives in Maseru International Airport, greeted by various members of the Zululand Communist Party.
On Janurary 8th, 1905, General Thabo Mbeki landed an expeditionary force of 500,000 men on Marondava, Madgascar. The General and his planners had dubbed this invasion, 'D-Day.' The invasion of Madgascar was meant to be a total surprise to the USEA forces. The Zulu had spread false intelligence that they were planning to take West Africa by the end of December and they had even put forces on the border. But they had successfully fooled the USEA. By doing just that, they had achieved something unbelieveable.
It was a cold morning, on Janurary 9th, 1905. You could feel the coldness chill your bones as you walked further towads your goal. We had just landed in Madgascar two days ago. Things seem to have been going well. As the Zulu 4th Expeditonary Force advanced through the USEA-held island of Madgascar, they had met resistance only at the coast, when they had landed. The USEA forces were completely and totally caught off guard. But this only lasted for two days. The USEA forces had prepared to stop the Zulu advance once and for all and it had almost worked. The expeditionary force had just entered the city of Morondova. They had expected cheers and parades in their honor. They had expected too much. It seemed as if they had walked into a ghost town, but they knew that Morondova was Madgascar's third most populous city. Where had everyone gone? As they reached the end of the city, they had no seen a soul in sight. They then advanced through the seemingly empty fields that surrounded Morondava. But they weren't that empty. Over a hill, half a mile away, a huge USEA force rusehd through and had finally arrived to meet their adversaries. The Battle of Morondava had began.
It was for this battle that General Thabo Mbeki earned his reputation for and it was this battle that ensured him a stake in the future of Zululand, and, eventually the world. Despite the overwhelming numbers of the USEA forces, Mbeki's tactical brilliance had saved the 4th Expedionary Force from total disaster. They had done something that was considered a taboo in modern warfare. Instead of staying miles away from the main force they were opposing, Mbeki realized that he should order his troops to do what they were trained to do: look at the enemy face to face, eye to eye, and fight them.
His gamble paid off.

What right do you have? After World War One, Zululand tried democracy. Do you know what happened? The corruptness of this country skyrocketed. The poor became poorer, the rich became richer. also, for the price you offered Russia for East Prussia, even i gotta say, and with this im being objective, that it is ridiculous to pay 41 economy for ANY land, whether big or small. i mean even with all the money you can spend even if you'd be at Outstanding Prosperity (8/8) and you'd use all the economy you can and drop all the way to Deep Depression (0/0), it would still only make 38 economies paid. so when you sell land, don't get too overzealous about pricing because even just paying 20 economies is ridiculous unless maybe the buyer is at the Out.Prosp. (8/8) economy level
IceEye is still in the game, so if you want official peace with him, you gotta negotiate with him or offer treaty or whatever. until then, his forces (and yours) are justified in attacking or counter-attacking

Your background story doesn't really describe the transition phase that the Zulu after World War I, so I doubt that it would make much of a difference if I said that, following the early years after the war, the Zulus tried to democracy, it failed miserably, and they became a part of the Socialist movement.

Though the Zulu people are indeed a very religous one, we see no need to impose our faith on others and thus, we will not. We extend our hand in friendship, but do not expect us to change governments and ignore our minorities.
OOC: Basically Kamilian, I need to make a history of Zululand following World War I in order to fulfill my goals and ideas in this NES. They will not change any of the dynamics of the NES, but the history I write will define the social and political landscape of Zululand at this time. I hope that is fine.
